David prowse BANNED from Official Star wars events
WWIIREBEL replied to WWIIREBEL's topic in Off Topic Cantina
Werent there other actors from these films that were also disgruntled with the SW genre??.I seem to recall somewhere on an article that an actor or two were tired of it. -

And so I Heard About That Creepy Place in The MEPD
WWIIREBEL replied to Gordonator's topic in Off Topic Cantina
For those that suffered the confines of said creepy place.....there is a stormtrooper support group with a rubber room and a mud/sand pit available to those whom have lost it completely, and would like to "regain" what they've lost, lol. -
were any good alternatives ever found??

Y-wing kinda looks like an early, re-worked AMT/Ertl kit, lol.Come to think of it, the canopy looks like its from a resin kit i seen somewhere recently.lol

Wouldn't most auction houses actually show some sort of documentation??
-
seems he also has a "production used "pyrotechnics" Y-wing with replacement parts added.Says it comes with a hand written letter signed by one of the original model builders that worked on 'em.,LOL....

Personally i think thats pretty cool, lol. A few months back ,i had been thinking on similar ideas . I was looking at a box truck for sale up the road from me.Its similar to the older box trucks that swat teams used. Only gripe is its current paint job(white w/green trim and lettering)yuck. It was owned by a football fan, lol.I dont have a pic of this exact truck but i have a pic of one of NYC's own....with a lil image alteration. mepd shield w/white MEPD logo sound good??.Just a thought, lol.

I can see those being incorporated into a Fett pack real easily, lol.

My PVC build with a lite touch of Hasbro
WWIIREBEL replied to WWIIREBEL's topic in E-11 and Bapty Blasters
Ok, so i am up to 97% o my pvc build and ran outta materials, lol.I only have the trigger guard and trigger to finish then done. So until i get more funds to finish it.......hows this so far???Comments.suggestions, ideas apreciated, lol. -
Hey i got a question on painting blasters. Has anyone here ever used the Krylon fusion paint with the textured finish??. I was thinking after seeing what it looks like that it might be a good one for e-11's. Some original sterlings have a rough/texture-like finish if i'm not mistaken???.I was thinking maybe testing this on one of my nerf dh-17 dart shooters
-
I use Krylon Fusion gloss black ( 3 coats)followed by using krylon fusion silver or a chrome paint to dry brush the raised details, giving the blaster that well used look.As well i dry brush a little bit of the scope/scopes with a little bit of gold for a worn finish on any brass-like parts, etc.

looks like a dome to a TK helmet, lol.

Attaching a scope rail: Which was more common on film?
WWIIREBEL replied to WWIIREBEL's topic in E-11 and Bapty Blasters
Hmm,ok, i am almost done now as well. I need to mount the rail, finish the trigger and trigger guard, then install the T tracks, then done. I was just wondering which of the two ways was more used. Thanks heaps bud, lol.
