I looked through the pictures again and see that you haven't got the crack on the left (his right) chin. I believe that could be a problem since it is quite characteristic for MAT. Again it truly is a great build

This is a great build Andy, you should really be proud of it The only things I can add is that the brow trim seems to be just a tad too far down. If you check the screen caps MATs brow rises up even higher on the right (his left) while yours seems to go straight (hope you see what i mean). I also noticed what (I believe it was) Dirty Boy corrected on the latest SWAT build and that would be if you could just make the piece of tape on the seed tray a bit more damaged and creasy (There are is a great screencap of this in the other post) I don't believe it is necessary but it will improve the pack further. When mentioning tape I realise that there are no clear pics of the tape detail on the right bicep so I can't determine if you have it or not but if you haven't i don't think that it is necessary either. I also believe the pauldron is a bit to clean, it might just be the light (or me) so don't go and weather it before a more reliable source says so And again great build

Hi! Right now in the beginning I would say that the best thing would be to take it slow and research. I can see that you are of to a great start and seem to know a lot already. Moving on to the questions. First of I got my pouches from Blaster 8266 (he sells them here) and they are great. I havenät purchased a blaster yet but In the future I will most likely buy it from "The guy that makes real awesome T-21 blaster with electronics" (I forgot the name ). Again I havenät weathered my armor yet but what weathering is the best depends mainly on your personal touch and appeal. personally i like the oily kind (pandatroopers tutorial). I haven't purchased a pack yet either so I can't fill that in and lastly I believe it is harder the heavier and larger the blaster is which means that E-11 is the easiest and T-21 and DLT-19 the hardest. Hope it helps (Also I just realized how much I have left )

If you're aiming for SWAT you must have the right amount of weathering in the right place so it will NOT be possible to replicate two different troopers with the same weathered armor (If of course the two don't have the same weathering like MAT before and after scene). At police officer level there is no strict pattern you must follow so if you weather it in one way you can later change pack, blaster, pauldron and pouches. Hope this helps. Cheerios!

Hi! I can just fill in that you can't get to SWAT level without being deployed police officer first which means that even though the guy you are making haven't got a pack you need to get it. I'm thinking of shooting for the "Blast that ship" trooper and it's the same thing there.

My first thought is that it looks a bit to clean and also I believe the bicep hooks must go since you can clearly see on the screen caps that Mat hasn't got them. The same goes with the teeth mesh. Otherwise it looks great in my eyes, great job

I just thought I would show the result of my sniper-knee build just in case someone else will try to do it in the future. As a starter I realized I didn't have large enough peaces of plastic but I thought that the superduper-abs-paste (That I never even tried before) would level of the seam created in the middle so I went with it anyway. Ye maybe not the brightest Idea Iv'e had, if your in the same situation you should buy the plastic. Except for overestimating the power of the paste (which worked well otherwise) I think it looks ok, I'm not sure about the size of it but it looks roughly right according to me (allthough now when I looked at the pictures it looks somewhat larger ) I already had everything I needed so it didn't really cost me anything to build and it was quite fun so if it isn't accepted I can just buy one The flaws aren't as noticeable in real life luckily. (And yes those are my pokémon cards )

You have a lovely journey in front of you, the first set is always something extra With that said my greatest advice would be to take your time and measure twice. Also if there is a problem don't hesitate to ask us here Good luck with the build

The reason for why I want to make it myself is that I want the armor to be more personalized, so if there is any good way of making these (without a vacuum former) so they still look ok I would prefer that, however if there isn't any then could you send me the prices in a message TM? Hi! I'm planing to turn my TK into a TD and I would like to build my own Ab plate and Sniper plate. I've checked the forum and found like 20 posts with the same questions but out of all the links posted I only found one that was still working (http://www.legionxxiv.org/trooper124/sniperplate.htm) and on this one there weren't any measurements. So I wonder if anyone can help me found any good links for this (I guess there are hundreds i failed to find). And yes I know that TM among others sell all the parts I need but as I said I would very much like to build my own. Thanks for the help. /STB
