While we are waiting for the lfl approval on the 20th anni patch I will post this interest to get it going...
Next up on the merch table: The MEPD Hawaiian shirt!
These are the details we have so far:
The shirts can cost up to $40 - $60 plus shipping
below is a mock up on what the shirt will look like for the most part.
These will be limited to 1 per trooper.

We will be wrapping up the interest thread this week and will be getting the sale thread ready to go as soon as the legion approves the run.

Fellow Sandtroopers,
It is time to offer up our 20th Anniversary 4" Patch.
Right now, we are doing an interest check to find out the number of how many patches will be purchased to help finalize our request info to the LMBO and LFL.
We need to know the amount of patches you plan to purchase with the info we have here in the thread.
Patch tentative pricing will be around $1.50 - $2.50 a piece (this price will include the digital tape charge, shipping from manufacturer to me, and mail out materials cost)
This price does not include shipping to you. That cost will be determined at the time of the sales thread.

Fellow TDs,
Thank you to everyone who supported the MEPD 20th Anniversary Challenge Coin run.
After processing all orders and payments we are left with a small residual balance of $87.31
This residual occurred because we hit a price break on the coins but also had a price increase for shipping from the manufacturer so in all transparency this is where we are at with it.
To look at the number of coins that were shipped out to members and excluding the 5 mandatory that we must ship to Disney LFL on any merch run over 149 pieces, the total of coins was 902.
Dividing the amount across the residual we get .010 cents per coin overcharge.
We are offering 2 choices.
Option 1. Refund of your .010 cents per coin you ordered.
Option 2. Donate that .010 cents to the 501st Make A Wish foundation.
As you know, not being able to troop in the last year has hit many charity organizations hard, so this is an opportunity for us to do a tiny bit more for them.
This thread will be open for 30 days, to give everyone a chance to chime in as to what they would like to do, and all you need post in your reply is
Refund or Donate.
After the 30 day period, we will assume you wish to donate and we will commence the donation process. The Donation receipt will be provided to the Legion command team for transparency, once said donation is made.

The coins are now in my possession. Over the next week or two I will be getting these out to you all. I need to sort the order and make sure everything is here and then the packing and shipping begins.

UPDATE:
All issues with the coins have been resolved by the manufacturer and they have shipped. The coins will be in my hands 1 week from tomorrow according to tracking. (:
Once in hand I will verify the run is correct then start shipping them out.

There is a delay in shipping them out to me. I just received this update from the manufacturer
" Hi Anthony,
So sorry about the delay. We need 5 more days for sending the coins because the plating of all the coins was defective. : ( "That is the latest. Almost there. Thanks for your patience guys.

UPDATE:
Thank you everyone for your patience on these. There was a little delay in the coin production due to a color issue that is now resolved.
The manufacturer emailed me yesterday letting me know that the coins are scheduled to ship to me on April 15th. It should take at least a week or so to be in my hands. I will then sort and pack and ship them out by the end of the month if all goes right. That is the latest.

ORDERING IS NOW CLOSED
Below is the final order list. I will finalize the details for the run and place the order with the vender within the next couple of days.
The order will take about a month to be manufactured and shipped to me. When I receive the shipment I will check the order to confirm all is good and then I will start the process of shipping out all of the orders which could take about 2 weeks after the shipment is confirmed.
I will post an update here when the coins are in

I was traveling for a few days. I am locking the sales for now. Our max as per our lfl approval was 800 pieces. We are now very close to that.
The original interest was much lower than that so getting near the approved max (this fast at least) was not anticipated.
I need to organize the details and will open up this sales thread as soon as I have things sorted out.
That being said it looks like we are exceeding the interest number enough that we may have gone into a lower price per coin bracket. If that is the case the price per coin may have gone down a few cents. If that is the case I will address that after we get the order in. All who ordered will have an option to get the overage amount refunded or donated (we will more than likely set up a donation to the 501st make a wish charity fund)
again stand by as I sort all the info so far. I will update here again within a day

200 coins left to order
Ordering has opened back up again. We were able to get the approved Max extended to 1000 coins.
There are 200 coins left and then the run is closed. Whatever comes first. This Friday the run officially closes but if the 200 coins left to order are ordered by then, the ordering is closed.

Coins cost $3.50 USD each + shipping
How to order?
1. Please post here in the thread how many coins you want to order.
2. I will then privately message you here on the forum (with a day or 2) and ask for your shipping address.
3. Once you give me your shipping address, I will then message you back (asap within day or 2) with the total you must PayPal me to get your order in.
4. Then you will PayPal the total cost I give you as a FRIENDS AND FAMILY payment to thereddeathstar@yahoo.com
NOTE: If you do not send the payment as a FRIENDS AND FAMILY payment you will get a refund and then must reorder

Is there a limit on how many coins can be ordered?
No limit on your order BUT we do have a total limit of 800 as per LFL approval. The interest shown is approx 400 – 500
Why do we have to message you to get a shipping total?
Because shipping prices vary so much from territory to territory out of and within countries/states. This is the most accurate way to get shipping paid without either buyer or seller losing out on cost.
When Do I Get My Coins?
This run ends February 19th , after which I will take a few days to organize and finalize the order then the coins are ordered from the vendor, manufactured, and then it is shipped to me for distribution. Normally this will take 4-8 weeks depending on where you live, but we must be mindful of the current state of the how the mail / shipping is in the world due to the pandemic. The orders may take a lot longer than normal once they are in the post offices hands.
Can we do a group order to save on postage?
Absolutely. It is encouraged to do for international especially

We have finally worked out the MEPD 20th Anniversary info with the LMBO team and they have approved the design.
We are still putting the details together to get the LFL approval which we’ll need in order to make this a 250 quantity + coin run.
With that being said we need to be proactive and be ready to order these as soon as possible as they need to be purchased from the manufacturer by the end of February in order to use our 2020 merch spots and not break into our 2021 slots ( 6 per year )

Right now, we are doing an interest check to figure out the final pricing for the coins that I will post when sale thread goes up hopefully next week.
We need to know the amount of coins you plan to purchase with the info we have here in the thread.
Coin tentative pricing will be around $3.00 - $3.50 a piece (this price will include the DIE charge, shipping from manufacturer to me, mail out materials cost)
The coin will be antique gold and 1.75 in size
As far as shipping to you that will be determined at the time of the sales thread.
