    It's coming down to the wire. In 2 days to get your orders in and paid for. The run closes Friday and the order is going in with the manufacturer.

    Troopers,

    we are now taking orders for MEPD Stained Glass Shield Challenge coins

    After running interest for the coin, we are opening the sales thread based on the interest numbers. We will run the sales thread for 2 weeks

    Coins cost $6.64 USD each + shipping

     

    There will be 2 coins offered.

    1 coin for all approved sandtroopers and the other is for our approved police officers (and SWAT)

    1.       Antique gold version will be offered out to all approved sandtroopers 

    2.       Straight shiny gold version with the words “POLICE OFFICER “engraved on the side. This coin will be offered at a limit of 1 per trooper and only to approved police officers and SWAT

    How to order?

    1.       Please post here in the thread how many coins you want to order. If you are an approved PO or SWAT please add if you are also getting the variant. 

    IF YOU ARE PO OR SWAT AND ARE ORDERING THE VARIANT YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR TD ID AND DATE OF PO APPROVAL HERE IN YOUR REPLY. IF YOU ARE DOING A GROUP ORDER THE INFO FOR THE POs/SWAT must be provided for each trooper as well

    2.       I will then privately message you here on the forum (with in a day or 2) and ask for your shipping address.

    3.       Once you give me your shipping address, I will then message you back (asap within day or 2) with the total you must PayPal me to get your order in.

    4.       Then you will PayPal the total cost I give you as a FRIENDS AND FAMILY payment to thereddeathstar@yahoo.com

    NOTE: If you do not send the payment as a FRIENDS AND FAMILY payment you will get a refund and then must reorder

    This sales thread will close Friday January 14th at 11:59 PM

    Questions:

    Is there a limit on how many coins can be ordered?

    Only if you are a PO and ordering the variant. Limit 1 per trooper

    Why do we have to message you to get a shipping total?

    Because shipping prices vary so much from territory to territory out of and within countries/states. This is the most accurate way to get shipping paid without either buyer or seller losing out on cost.

    When Do I Get My Coins?

    This run ends January 14th , after which I will take a few days to organize and finalize the order then the coins are ordered from the vendor, manufactured, and then it is shipped to me for distribution. Normally this will take 4-8 weeks depending on where you live, but we must be mindful of the current state of the how the mail / shipping is in the world due to the pandemic. The orders may take a lot longer than normal once they are in the post offices hands.  

    Can we do a group order to save on postage?

    Absolutely. It is encouraged to do for international especially

    Troopers,

    We are moving on to our next piece of merch. We are going to be offering the MEPD cut to shape stained glass shield challenge coin.

    We are just waiting on the LFL approval which we’ll need to make this a 250 quantity + coin run.

    We need to be proactive and be ready to order these as soon as possible.

    Right now, we are doing an interest check to figure out the final pricing for the coins that I will post when sale thread goes up hopefully next week.

    We need to know the number of coins you plan to purchase with the info we have here in the thread.

    Coin tentative pricing will be around $6.00 to $8.00 a piece (this price will include the DIE charge, shipping from manufacturer to me, mail out materials cost)

    All the first post has been updated with a more detailed sizing chart. The manufacturer highly suggests we go over it before final decision on size. I will post the charts here as well

    Those who have ordered already please go over this chart and let me know if you need to switch your size shirt

    Hey! This is the first time using this vender. They did provide a sizing charts with measurements to go by which is posted in the first post. I would use that. Me personally I always go 1 size above what I normally wear with button up shirts (racing shirts etc.) just to be safe. I'd rather be a lil bigger than too tight but that's just me

    From the manufacturer 

    " Our Hawaiian shirts are similar to a camp style shirt as it features a boxy fit (men's shirt) and is vented on the sides. However, it does not include the button and loop at the top of the shirt "

    The time has come to offer the first ever MEPD Hawaiian shirt to approved sandtroopers!

    Shirts are 100% cotton and will have premium wood buttons.

    Shirts come in sizes from Extra Small up to 5 XL in women’s and men’s. Please see the charts below.

    The cost is $51.50 USD per shirt + shipping (this cost includes shirt cost, tax, shipping to me from the manufacturer, shipping materials, and designing cost)

    Shipping cost will be determined from the info you send me.

    Below are the instructions on how to order:

    1. Please post here in the thread how many shirts (3 shirt limit) and what sizes

    I love the design as well, but the fabric content is what matters to me. All of my Aloha shirts(and dresses)  are cotton, and have lasted for well over 20+ years. 
    That and they came from Hilo Hattie. 
     

    What would also be cool if it was available, is the design on a bolt of fabric (like from Spoonflower) so those of us who like to sew, could maybe make some masks or even a spiff swing dress.

    We are using a highly recommended company and the samples were great so I'm confident we will have a quality product (:

    2) will this be a truly 'camp cut' shirt, or tailored like a standard button down?
    - a camp cut is very square in profile has a one-piece collar that lays flat, and the collar usually has a button loop at the top with an off-set top button.
      it also has vents on the sides.

    - a standard button down is more tailored/less boxy, has a two piece collar which stands up, and a standard buttonhole at the neck,

     

    All those details will be posted in the sales thread.

    I will hopefully get to posting it up this weekend or early next week the latest.
