Very cool, Great work guys!!!

One word for today, FREEZING, which had an effect on the turnout for sure but us being the UKG braved the cold and went and did our bit for the Empire. It was a fairly quiet troop but there seemed to be plenty of kids to terrorise and keep in line!!! Right, pics - The force is stong in Fareham and Lord Vader wanted to inspect his lightsaber - Next a young Bounty Hunter came to offer a hand and his services in crushing any Rebel Scum - This servant didn't understand Lord Vaders comment about Wookie burgers being chewy - This young Sith Lord shared his plans of ruling the Galaxy in the near future - The Empire is in safe hands in Fareham and the future looks Dark -

Jim is helping to resolve my issue but this morning I get am email saying the next batch of RomFX's are almost ready so I have taken the plunge (sorry wallet) and ordered the Classic version so hopefully I'll get in a few weeks. From what I understand there's a bit more setting up to do than the simple plug'n'play Icomm. If anyones got any tips on using/setting the RomFx Id love to hear them before I get it. thanks guys. Thanks guys, I was pretty chuffed that all my little modifcations seemed to work well although I could off made the Ab to Back suspender straps a little tighter and I need to pad the straps for deffo, tops of my shoulders are killing me lol. The little Vader was brilliant, he loved it!!! He came in and went "AAAARRRGGGHHHH Stormtroopers, I LOVE StarWars" and came straight over to stand infront of us, he knew what to do lol.

Thanks Marcus, Its going back to the USA for looking at now though, just hope I can get something sorted before LEGOLAND. I'll just be using my mic+Aker amp for the minute along with my terrible American accent. If anyone hears of and RomFX going please give me a shout.........

So this was a last minute TD troop for me and although a little quiet I had fun, apart form my comm's issue's, its horrible not being able to talk, although my missus wouldn't complain lol. Ok, pics He looked like Rebel Scum to us so we dealt with him in the appropriate manner!!! We wernt too sure about this guy either?....... Then the boss came back to check on us again........ after a short growth spurt!!! We also run in to some Jedi and only just escaped with our lives - After the Jedi incident Lord Vader put us to work - We had reports of Ewok's in the area but it was a false alarm - Some of the public came out to say thanks for keeping them safe - Id like to say nothing got past us that day, a good days work done for The Empire again -

That's cool....... My money's on Dante in this fight though!!!

Just to let you know ive already heard back from Jim (2hours after my email to him) about this and from ordering to delivery and dealing with the issue's he has been nothing but helpfull to me, a top guy!!!

Wow two Brad's for the price of one.......... Thanks guys, I have emailed Jim to find out what we can do to get over this. Ive also stuck a WTB thread on the UK forum for an FX but not holding my breath as there pretty thin on the ground at the moment. I think I'll just use the Amp and Mic for the moment as being a silent trooper was horrible. Unless you want to sell yours UK Brad??? ok, thought that would be your answer lol.

So I had a troop today and seemed to have nothing but issues with me Icomm setup. It seemed to work fine for 10 to 20mins then just went quiet on me and wouldnt pick up my voice. My setup is the Icomm and speaker strapped to my chest with a wired mic to the lid so nothing fancy really........ All was fully charged and I've used this setup before with no problems?.... Any ideas or suggestions appreciated as I need to be able to move people along!!! Thanks in advance guys.

@Marcus, Smyth's in Fareham, I thought they only wanted TK's but they advertised a TD and a TK being there. So last night was spent trying to get my gear upto scratch, new back straps fitted and second bits of thigh elastic glued along with fixing the belt pouches, second hand kits eh. I am enjoying tinkering and having fun learning with it though as Im not naturally good with making things. Some of the skills you guys have amazes me.

Roger that Derek, Im going to use the existing snap sone as a guide and measure very carefully. Just incase though, whats the best thing to remove E6000???

Thanks Nick, I can also detach with the method I mentioned as the loop at the top detaches by just sliding it off the belt, glad to hear the E6000 is what you recommend though, thanks..........

Hiya Gents, Im currently upgrading some bits of my TD as some of the strapping/elastic is pretty worn and will prob give up soon. Im onto the thighs now and going to use 75mm wide elastic to loop around from the inside thighs to a quick release belt. I was wondering whats the best glue to fix the elastic to the inside of the thighs, Im prob going to use my tried and trusted E6000 but just wanted to run it by all you experienced builders here. Thanks in advance.

lol, The pics are just what I needed to see. Gives me a good idea on how to re-strap mine, although I'll prob use e6000 where you have used velcro.

Top man, thanks Brad...... My shoulder pouch is fixed to the backpack strap.

Just a TK for me which seems the most common splace to start, much prefer my TD though. Id like to have a Fett but im not really the right build. I think Clones are quite interesting but they sound pretty difficult to do.
