From what I have read different people have different views on this and some threads get pretty heated about re-casting. I have been up to RS Props and seen their set up with a large Vac-Forming maching which was interesting to see in action. There is a listing on e-bay at the moment for a set of TK molds which im watching out of interest but im not knowledgable enough to comment on what they are like.

Great work mate. On the frame did you heat up the overflow to get the bend? I work in a plumbers merchant so can get 30deg'ish bends ect if you need any? Im also looking into getting these older style syphons. Keep up the good work.

Thanks gents, It says when applying that I need my TD id, I have been waiting 4 months for my TK, thats providing I did it correctly? How do I get my TK + TD Id's, I have filled out my details and emailed the 501st if thats it? Also, I have 4 ab buttons but the deployment thread says to show 3, is 4 acceptable still? So many questions, sorry.... Well im of to have a JD and Coke to celebrate todays news.

Make that one more in the patrol now, just got my clearance email .

So just recieved a little email this morning to say - Im cleared with my TD Brilliant, sooooo happy and what an early xmas prezzie. Cant wait to troop with some of you soon.

Hi guys, I realise im not cleared yet but thought id add my 2pence worth if thats ok. I love the pauldron, really really good. As for names Jubilee Patrol is also great, a couple of others I came up with are - Noble Patrol (noble English gentlemen we all are) or Valiant Patrol

Just got an email from Casey too, hopefully being shipped just after boxing day so fingers crossed.

I got a reply from Casey a week or so ago to say im added to the run list for next year. I had sent a few emails with no replies but when I put Caseys name added with being UKG I got a reply, may help? Just seen on RS Props FB page they've just posted a pic of a TD they've just done and I dropped the question if their gona look at doing any "big-boy" blasters?

Thanks , tbh though the only comments I got back were not really armour related. I got - MUST remove the "lacqured on" UKG decal and the Jpeg picture converter I used kept the "watermark" (think its called that) on the pic and he wants that removed even though my TK got passed using the same type of pic. No mentions of actual armour issues though so we'll see. Im gona try and re-submit by Wednesday.

Sounds like a great idea to me even though im not cleared yet. Legoland is coming up soon!!!

Didnt get cleared, need to sort a few little things out, nothing major though. Dissapointed but not defeated. If anyone wants me I shall be in my work-shed tonight.

Well done and great work, I saw it and liked it when it popped up. I have a similiar troop this weekend for a young lads surpirse birthday who is having some tough treatment at the moment, not affraid to admit I know I will be shedding a tear under my lid. This is the kind of work that makes me feel humble and so proud and to be able to serve 501st. Now "Lets Go To Work".

Just submitted the standard shots, forgot to take the lids off one first time around so had to re-kit for that one lol. Im signed up as a TK for the Morgan troop in Northampton on Sunday, theres a couple of Dirty lads already going so I will be checking out their armour ect for sure!!!

Clearance pics went in on Friday..........oh the agony of waiting to hear back. Would love to get it cleared to take to a troop this Sunday. Fingers crossed.
