I will suggest also to paint black the inside of the helmet to avoid light refraction on the face. Sometimes happens that the face is fully visible through the helmet green lenses: painting the interior of the helmet in black will fix it (and You do not need to wear a balaclava)

Hi Rhino, I'm posting some pictures of me wearing my weathered TD armor, to give You an idea of "big blotch" pattern. Consider that I'm NOT a S.W.A.T. officier, and that my weathering is not the best one in the world... so it is not something to aim for, but it is still "passable". As Deadvision told, I used big blotch of paint on the chest and other armor parts. I like this approach because the weathering is still visible under direct sunlight. Even if it seems not so weathered, when indoor a lot more of weathering appears. Cheers, Alberto

Yup... and this is the real reason why Stormtroopers and Sandtroopers are not very precise while shooting. Fortunately we have heavy weapons, so and at the end we are way more precise than our clean and shiny counterparts.

Give them some more time to answer... nobody is working as a fulltime employee at MEPD. Be sure that they'll give You a final word

Shoulder, arm and biceps are Ok for me. Personally, I'll wipe-out some weathering from the chest plate and all the rear armor : they seems too weatheed if You compare them to the arms.

Lesson 1: How a Sandtrooper armor works. Today was an "armor maintenance" day: remove moisture from inside the helmet and armor, checking the straps, looking for cracks and eventually fix them, etc... My son arrived and, while looking at what I was doing, asked me: "Dad, can I try Your armor? how it works?" Hooooo... a new Sandtrooper is born! how wonderful...
