Hi Christopher, I have just had my TD approved & it is also NE. If you need any advise just PM me & I will see if I can help. I did cut the bottom of the shins/calves as I found it to restrictive around the ankles. I also did the same around the wrists on the forearms. Andrew.

Hi everyone, Well after 18 long months of ordering, building & getting approved, I finally did my first troop & absolutly loved it. It was for a charity called Kids Flix that put on movie days for children with disabilities & disadvantaged backgrounds. I finally also got to find out what it is like to wear the helmet & armor for 2.5 hours straight, but seeing the reactions on the kids faces made it all worth it & I can now fully appreciate why we do this. Hi Everyone, Well I have finally gotten around to starting the weathering on my armor. Although i am not even 501st accreditted yet, I figured I would do my weathering to a SWAT trooper, in particular the "Cantina Sargent". I know that this particular trooper is hard to get screen shots of & have been involved in discussions on the MEPD forums before so i have attached some photos of the trooper that has been presumed to be the cantina trooper. in the photo of the troopes in front of the Dewback the trooper second from left has the white ear on the helmet, no shoulder pouch & is relitively clean (Pauldron & armor). in the street shot the trooper has a grey ear & pouch, but the dirt patterns on the legs, chest & ad plates match in both photos. so given that he is hard to find am I headed down the right path with my weathering of a difficult to find trooper. Anyway i hope you like it & by the way I am using Pandatroopers "Dirty Oily" method on the armor. Thanks Andrew.

Hi Chris, I have just completed mine & am about to weather it. You will find some photos of my armor in the NE Armor thread & my Almost Finished thread here on the forums. I actually found the legs to be easier to start with a the forearms are a bit of a mongrel to get right. As everyone else has said measure twice & cut once, you will get plenty of help here when you need it. Andrew.
