Yup. I know I'm not SWAT yet, but have been researching my costume for it Totally agree with Daniel,I think it would be a good idea to have a separate thread for each version of the costume, otherwise it's just going to get messy if everyone posts here. But this is a a great idea.

I've got some black ribbed hose too - I bought a length off ebay just for the little bit I needed for my pack's exhaust. The rest is leftovers. Not sure if it'll be any use, but it's there if you need it.

Yeah, the ROM/FX as has a lot of adjustment, but once you've got it how you want it, which is very easy, you shouldn't need to touch it again. I set mine up in 2006 when I got it, not had to change anything since, apart from some tweaks after the first troop. I love it.

I've got a load of miscellaneous "bits". just stuff I've held on to as it looks like it might come in handy for some future project - lots of metal rods and fixings, fans, walkman parts, printer parts, all sorts of stuff. Literally a box full. if you need greeblies, I have plenty.

Not at all Nick. I've PM'd our GML about it already. Currently waiting for a response.

Rather than clutter up my deployment thread any more than I already have, I'll start a new thread in the Hurt Locker with my armour's progress, and post back here when I'm done.
