That's going to be tough to find replacements. How did you cut the bolts out? If the plastic parts are salvageable, you might have to fill them with epoxy and re-thread them.

The blu-ray comes out tomorrow. Hopefully someone can scour the bonus material for hints at the Jedha sandtrooper. So far we have last year's celebration clip I posted and the Visual Guide.

I use the Pandatrooper method of keeping the seed trays closed by using zip ties. To keep the trays shifting, I put a little E6000 on my finger tips and run it around the edges. I usually have to reapply every few troops. If your bottom tray needs the gaffers tape then skip it on that tray.

Looks like it's off to a great start so far!

Let's talk power supplies
Airborne Trooper replied to Airborne Trooper's topic in Sandtrooper Electronics
The company that made the one I ordered sent me an email asking me to leave them 5 star review/feedback. They sent me another one for free -
Would you care to share your loop? I am always looking for loops to add to my pack radio mp3 player. I started playing with the Bluetooth transmitter last night and got most of it done. Realized I bought 3 post 3.5m male jacks instead of 4 post. I'll have it done by the weekend, but have to wait until the updated sketch is released to have it fully converted.

File off the little nubs. The one on top can be filled in with epoxy sculpt or bondo. Give it a light sand, primer, and paint! Looking forward to your build.

It has to do with Like counts.

Request 501st or Sandtrooper Section Access

501st access granted, Marc! -
Hello, Vincent. The bottles RS has been providing on their packs are too skinny/long IMO. Get some computer monitor wipes.

From what I've seen, guys will 3D print armor and then send them off to a vacuum former. I doubt I'll ever try to do something that big of a project. Printing things out to help my garrison mates and doing side jobs for a quick buck would be my focus area. These days I can't drop several hundred on a new toy without a good justification for the wife. Now a new toy that has potential to pay for itself is more likely to get the wife seal of approval.

If you search Whitearmor.net, you can find Pandatrooper's tube stripe template, just print it out and use an exacto blade to cut out a template on painters tape.

Yep, pick up some tube stripe templates from trooperbay. Make sure you only make as many stripes as the trooper you're emulating has

So would the Maker Select Plus be a good choice to print things such as armor, accessories, etc. or would I need the more expensive Maker Ultimate? Both of these options are much cheaper than some of the other ones I was looking at on Amazon that was in the 1-2k range.

So who's going to pre-order the R1 armor?

Steve, I hope you realize that we are only looking out for you so you look your best. Please don't take it personal or that we are overly nit picky. -
I'd need something to help recoup my investment by doing jobs on 3dhubs.

The thing about using real sand is you have to find a balance. Since the Australian sand is so dark it might be better to use it selectively instead of exclusively. Think about walking through a desert with your armor on. You would really only have grainy sand in recessed areas. I would recommend using acrylics to get your base and add a little bit of sand. -
There's officially a vendor working on R1TK armor. No surprise that it's Jim. Will be made out of the same flexible fiberglass his other suits are made of. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38197-jimmiroquai-rogue-one-builds/?p=551507
