  1. Great pictures and impressive build... how will you ever decide which photo to use for your profile??? They all look awesome.
  2. ... and why do you suppose he holds his blaster upside down? Maybe, that Jedi mind trick back at the cantina really messed with his brain.
  3. If you're interested, I have on open thread in the Project Orders for a backpack cover. I use mine at events to avoid odd stares from people before I suit up. http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=10474
  4. Ben, Great looking armor... It's apparant that you've been working hard to get every last detail done. One area that may need some correction is the cover strips on your legs. It's tough to tell on the small photos, but they look a touch wide. If I'm right, I believe the strips should measure 20mm on the front and about 25mm on the back. Hopefully someone else can chime in here to confirm. Otherwise, nice job!!!
  5. Great job putting this all together! You all inspire us to achieve higher standards as Sandtroopers, and you are commended for the way you represent the MEPD.
  6. Here's a few pictures of my Medium Spanish pouch... let me know if you need better pictures or different measurements.
  7. Just some small items to tweak, but looking real good. Good job!
  8. I've got a medium Spanish pouch and will try to upload measurements and picture soon.
  9. Don't worry... all bleeding stops eventually. Now that you're "finished" with your build, you can focus now on getting it to fit right. Enjoy!
  10. Looks really nice! Great pics and weathering. See you in the cantina soon!
  11. Not sure why my link above is "inactive"... here are a few photos: Toshi Station: Unknown troopers:
  12. This was my first StarWars Convention ever and it was great! I elected not to suit up for this event because we brought our kids. Check out a few of my photos at: www.photobucket.com/celebrationVI
  13. Awesome photos! How could anyone NOT want to be a Sandtrooper after seeing these?!?
  14. Did you obtain the correct 3-button ab plate and the diamond knee plate?

    Grout?

I recently "upgraded" my weathering using more of the grout method and wanted to post this photo to demonstrate how this effect looks in case others were considering using this technique...
  16. This will be my first one too. Will there be any MEPD swag/ challenge coins?
  17. It's coming along nicely... A couple of things that I notice which you may want to consider: - the corners of your belt could be trimmed more (at 45 degree angles) - your forearms appear to be to big around and I believe there's too much flat area beneath your 15mm(?) cover strips. You might want to take the cover strip off, trim the flat area back to adjust the fit, and then reapply the strip. Be sure to seek other opinions first though in case I am giving bad advice! - the front of your thighs have the same problem with the cover strip/ flat area. If you need to correct this, ypu may have to shim the backs more to allow room for you leg. All in all, it's getting there!
  18. Nice to see your progress! Everything looks great.
  19. The weathering looks really nice. One thing that I noticed... you may need to trim the corners of your belt at 45 degree angles. It's hard to see in your photos, but it looks like yours are squares off.
  20. Great looking build! Looks like SWAT material!!!
  21. It's looking good! I like the Fuller's Earth effect... it looks like real sand!
  22. Rick, The concept is great and I hope you can get it linked soon. In the meantime, can some of you SWAT members just post your link within this thread?
  23. Great looking build! See you in the cantina soon...
