  1. It's nice to get a big box of happiness before the holidays! Have fun.
  2. This is my favorite pack, and yours looks just fine! The only thing that I see is the position of the filter... Maybe you could lower it just another 1/2 inch or so (compare to the reference picture in post #4). These are SWAT level modifications though. For Police Officer, I believe the pack is good to go now.
  3. You should be proud of this one Felice! You've done a really nice job with the detailing. You'll make a great addition to the SWAT team soon!
  4. It appears that your tupperware container may be a touch too big. I think your pack looks great, but if you are hoping for a more screen accurate look, you might want to replace this piece. Otherwise, maybe just lower your tupperware to "split the difference"...
  5. Outline your cuts with pencil, score lightly with a utility knife, and then deepen your cuts until you can snap apart. Practice on scrap until you get the feel of it. If you scuff up your armor, consider it early weathering. Enjoy!!!
  6. Hunter, I used the E6000 on my AP kit and had trouble at first. The trick is to be VERY patient... sand each part to be glued, apply a liberal amount of E6000, and clamp tight. Leave it alone for at least 12 hours. Any excess is very easy to cut and peel away like rubber cement, so don't worry about making a mess. If you do one piece at a time, all should hold well. My entire armor has held together through many troops. Good luck!
  7. Congrats! Hope to see you apply for MEPD deployment soon... we need assistance tracking a set of droids!
  8. Fantastic job! Really impressed with the modifications and weathering details.
  9. Very impressive! Should be an easy MEPD pass. I really like the weathering.
  10. I too have an AP kit. These areas do not require a return edge. Enjoy your new build!
  11. You'll want to cut the teeth out. It is movie accurate and it provides what little oxygen you'll get when wearing your bucket.
  12. Other than the afore mentioned small details, this is a great looking SWAT submission! Nice job bro.
  13. Very nice! Detailing on the helmet and overall weathering look great!
  14. Welcome aboard! Looking forward to seeing your SWAT application.
  15. This is one of the most impressive submissions I've seen! Great job... really like the weathering. Have you considered painting more of the teeth?
  16. Payment sent. Thanks Rick for keeping us hosted!
  17. Looking really good! I'm not sure the weathering patterns for the legs are different between the two pictures, but the lighting in the dewback photo is much harsher and washes out the detail seen in the second photo. I think your weathering looks fine now, but if you prefer a dirtier look, you could get away with a little more texture on the legs to match what is seen in the street scene. It's certainly 501st and MEPD approvable now.
  18. Dave, I am the same height & weight and have an AP suit. Although I don't have any photos of the backs of my legs in my SWAT submission, here's a photo of my MEPD submission. I didn't alter the backs since then. Hope this helps.
  19. Inside the elbows & knees get the biggest bites. Don't be afraid to shape and trim until you have decent range of motion. Pad with foam and weather stripping to keep the plastic off the skin.
