    DLT-19

I'm not certain if Slavefive ships to Australia, but if he does, the hyperfirm DLT19 is very nice. I'm sure you saw his recent post at http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=10219. Cushman never responded to my emails when I was searching for a BFG.
  2. When I assembled mine, I referred to Pandatrooper's build at http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=6775&st=0 Good luck!
  3. Have you considered linking each SWAT profile with a screen shot image of the trooper represented? Or is this typically included within the build thread?
  4. I agree with your decision to adjust the belt. Be sure to correct your right bicep too. You can secure the bicep beneath the shoulder bell with a small nylon strap and a couple of snap plates. Good luck!
  5. Yes, T-tracks are included, as well as disc and ammo box.
  6. I just noticed the hyperfirm DLT19 for sale which comes "loaded" with greeblies, ammo box, t-tracks, etc. As I already own a stock hyperfirm DLT 19, I am not interested in this purchase, however I am curious about all of the attachments. Does anyone know about these extra parts, where to find them, how to attach them, or if they are part of a Sandtrooper's weapon???
  7. You'll want to build them to allow your gloves to be put on AFTER your forearms... otherwise, you'll be unhappy with the looseness. Just make sure your ungloved hand fits through the small opening before you glue everything together.
  8. I just used white silicone caulking. Once it's weathered, it doesn't show.
  9. Great job and nice photos! What did you use to weather? It looks awesome!
  10. Awesome news Nick! I have enjoyed following your progress and never doubted you would get approval. Very well deserved!
  11. Many of us just use extra ABS material or "for sale" sign plastic to fabricate the side gaps. My armor had about a 2" gap on either side, so I cut 4" wide pieces and attached using industrial strength velcro. You can attach using snaps, rivets, or E6000 if you prefer. On mine, about 1" overlaps onto ab and kidney piece. Just make the height of the piece match the height of your kidney piece. The rivets can be functional, or like mine, they can be just cosmetic... they don't hold anything together since I have the velcro. The nice thing about velcro is that it flexes when you are trooping and can be adjusted later if your gap gets bigger ;-) Good luck!
  12. I get "error establishing database connection" when I try to open the Police Officer, SWAT officer and CRL tabs.
  13. Devin, I didn't have the pack when I got approved for the 501st, and I didn't have a shoulder pouch. As can be gathered by this thread, the issue regarding the necessity of a shoulder pouch comes down to the discretion of your GML. Good luck!
  14. Here are photos of the BFG from both sides: Looking forward to having a cold beverage soon!
  15. Thanks, John, again for your help with the pack... Filter Pack #5:

  17. Agreed... For what it's worth, I was approved for 501st without the shoulder pouch. Hope they don't revoke my membership! :-)
  18. I apologize if I am confused too, but I found my information here... http://www.mepd.net/crl/
  19. The 501st requirement for pouches states, "20.AMMO POUCHES: Two or three in total, made of black leather, canvas or vinyl. Worn either at the hips or left shoulder, opposite of the pauldron." It does not specify here that a shoulder pouch is necessary.
  20. Have you considered adding snaps under your belt to prevent it from sliding around? Also, your right shoulder appears to have too much of a return edge.
  21. Just finished my first build and used AP... Awesome armor! Be sure to check out this link if Mark hasn't already told you about it... http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=7744&st=0&unlockUserAgent=1
  22. I got 501st clearance last week... TD 9389 reporting for duty. Here's an updated photo with improved (smaller) undersuit and enhanced weathering. The backpack is under construction.
  23. Truly a work of art.... Thanks for sharing!
