  1. I guess I didnt do the best job wording that, I allready scratch built my own, I was just thinking about replacing the electronics that I have in the one I built with these, so I wouldnt have much $$ tied up in it..I had looked into th more expensive stuff at one point, but I really think I prefer the plain hilt look (I think the plastic colored light) takes away from the illusion...
  2. I think one of the guys in my garrison, (Joe Moore) has a Vader for sale.. I am not sure which version, but I could get you his contact info so you could contact him... Just let me know...
  3. I hate to admit it, but I have been working on an old repulic jedi..... but I have seriously considered purchasing one of these to add some life to my scratch built light-saber...
  4. We are quite found of our sayings here in WV.. Jay has more sayings than you can shake a stick at...
  5. If you are going to search for tupper ware the older stuff for packs isnt as readily available anywhere... Flea Markets or yard sales would be your best bet for those. Good thing is you can sometimes get a great deals, I got my tupper ware pitcher lid for 1$ at a flea market....hope you have a fun and safe trip....
  6. Unfortunately a decal wouldnt work.. It would cause extra drag and would have an effect...
  7. Well that was another concern if I went that route, but I would think it would be so small an amount and with being airbrushed it would be a thin layer (assuming) and shouldnt (hopefully)have much of an effect..
  8. Well I have finally thrown my hands up and decided to ask for some help.. I have been trying to combine to of my favorite things.. I throw darts pretty seriously and I have been searching without any luck to find some Star Wars dart flights.. Everyone has their own preference for dart flights and there is a wide variety of pictures that can be found on them. I cant think of something more awesome than to see that Emblem of the Empire hanging on the dart board..I would think that you could find at least the cog or at least the jedi emblem on them... However, that has not been the case so far... Has anyone possible seen these anywhere? So far the only thing I have managed to located is an advertisement from a few years ago about a Star Wars dart set(bristle board and darts) it doesnt even look as if that this actually ended up being avaiable for sale.. I have a few sets of just plain black flights that I have been considering taking to one of those airbrush kiosk's you see in the mall, but I am not sure they could do something that small or if it would end up being some insane amount of cash for what is actually being done... Hopefully one of you might be able to push me in a direction...

  19. Hope this helps for your faceplate issues.. If you want it to be removable what I did was mount some high strength magnets on some old film containers in the 4 corners of the box.. I had tried velcro and a few other things but didnt seem to work for very long. I have been on 3 troops with the magnets and so far they havent failed.. This is what mine looks like.. There may be better ideas out there, this just happens to work for me.. Looks like you had a blast trooping....

  23. Im still trying to get it to work before I try and get it in my armor.. Right now I have it on my work desk.. I can get it to pseudo-work with the PTT. However, without the PTT I get the constant air sound (also my voice cannot be hear through any mic that I have tried, (I tried the mic I have been using with it and the mic that came with the memorex) alsothe red light on the ICOMM that usually comes on when the static burst goes off, stays lit. (the squeal went away with when I turned the amp down a little so that fixed that..
