  4. Outstanding! You guys have kicked it up into another level of excellence and dedication. Feeling proud and honored to be among such a fine group of members!
  5. First off, on behalf of the awesome Officers here in Command Staff, I would like to wish each and every one of you fine Troopers a very Happy Belated New Year! 2016 was a crazy year here in the MEPD. New details found to upgrade and update our armor and gear. New prop builders with so much more things to offer us to help propel the excellence of our detachment even further and the rising numbers of the members being added to the Roster. With all that said, we'd like to also like to take this time to thank you all for being patient with the current state of this site. As you all know by now, our site suffered a vicious hack early last year and although things are starting to get back to normal slowly, things have not been the same. With glitches and delays, it appeared that our detachment was starting to slowly fade in importance. We will not let that happen. This group is just too tough and resilient to allow any of that nonsense. Our goal is to get this detachment back on track and be more vocal in regards to helping ad assisting new and current members with their questions and builds. I appreciate those who have reached out to me through emails and PMs for advice and I recommend that you do not to hesitate to do the same with the rest of the fine officers here in Command Staff! Please do not think that we are ignoring any of you. Until we can get this site running at optimum efficiency again, we ask that you all continue to be patient and to please contact any of us anytime (PM or EMAIL) with any questions. For some of us Officers here, that is the only way we can communicate with the rest of you Troopers. More updates headed your way. Let's make 2017 the year that we Sandtroopers make our presence felt once more! Semper Imperius! ~Michael "SCRIBBLER" / TD-6985 / MEPD Executive Officer

  10. @ Aaron - Your pack is fine for standard deployment. As for details, we are more likely to focus on specifics during the SWAT Process. As for the issue about the tape? Here you go. Of course, you can re-adjust the side tape angles. But, you are fine.

  12. Here is a repost of a statement made by Command Staff on the FB site back in September... ***Attention: Troopers, Recruits & New Members... We are aware of the site problems and are trying to remedy the situation as quickly as we can. Until we can get all of these frustrating kinks out, we ask that everyone please be patient. All of Command Staff gets notified when we get a new site registrant. There are a lot, Believe us! New members used to be automatically approved. Command Staff now has to manually do it. One by one. Hence the delays. So if new members are registering , please be patient and give us a couple of days to get through all the requests! On behalf of our Commanding Officer and our fine Command Staff, many thanks and Troop on! -- "Scribbler" / MEPD Executive Officer
  13. I've been using this one on all of my pack builds the past few years. "LAKE BLUE". I like it. Very close!
  14. List Updated: 155 Officers have now received their requested Certificates.
  15. Outstanding work, Brother! I am definitely interested! =)
  16. Excellent choice. =) Also, very nice rework of the weathering pattern. You are on your way, Troop!
  17. @ Joshua - Very nice start, Brother! Looks better! Take your time if you need it and take care of your little one and family first! No worries, we'll be here when you get back! Congrats! =)
  18. We'll all be waiting patiently, Brother! lol Nice work!
  19. I have a Trooperbay pauldron (Orange) and although it is a nice one and not a bad purchase, I still prefer the look and fit of my Trooper1 lot (Black, White & Orange). Trooper1 also made all of our Patrol's (66ers) signature Dewback Pauldrons.
  20. Outstanding work so far! Looking forward to seeing the final results!
  21. @ Warren - Mike's (Trooperbay) Kits has the hard to find items and is basically a starter kit. A nice lot if you already know how to build a pack. You would still need a few other things to complete the pack though. Mainly the frame itself. Also, it all depends on which of the pack versions you want to build. Dirty Boy and Quartermaster offer great completed packs and Crashmann offers complete kits and pack commissions as well. Please send any questions their way. I started with a Dirty Boy pack and over the years learned how to build my own. For a newbie, it wouldn't hurt to just invest in a ready to wear pack. If you can afford one that is. Saves time and a lot of blood, sweat and tears. But if you are up for the challenge or you already have the prop building experience, touch bases with any of these fine gentleman on getting a kit. Hope that helps, Troop! Good luck!
