  1. Thank you. Think I should out in for clearance?
  2. All drunk doing the weathering!! Thanks for comments guys
  3. First try on of complete armour...maybe pre-clearance pics to see what you guys think? Sorry photos are not great but they were taken at night at home..will get some clearer ones soon. Have got to used to my TS I think and forgotten how uncomfortable this is to wear!! Need to adjust a few things..add foam in places...maybe change backpack straps as the shoulders don't seem to sit right with the ones I have. Also how do people keep the shoulder ammo pouch in position as mine kept slipping down? Anyways...please comment if you can as I'd love some feedback....know packpack not straight ..was just a quick try on for photo purposes and to get a feel for it.
  4. Cheers mate...anyone else have anything spare they don't need/want?
  5. Here you go Isaac...sorry not great but a little hectic today!!
  6. Ok..shall take some when I get home from work
  7. Thank you..so glad you like what I've done so far. For the pack I've used sand coloured acrylic lightly sponged in some places..plus watered down black on the blue parts to simulate oil or grease. Also brushed some parts. .where I thought sand may gather with a very watered down paint solution and quickly sprinkled actual sand onto it, then brushed away excess. The radio dial is brushed with silver to give a antique worn look. Can post more pics later if you like?
  8. Hi guys and gals.. Any ideas for me? Not sure where to get stuff from
  9. Thanks for the positive comments!!!! Sorry, I should have explained...the boots had only been painted white at that point and only stuck them on to see how they fitted with the lower legs. They were then weathered too you'll be glad to know!!
  10. Hi..thank you so much. His name is Ian Trebinski and his ID is TD19976.
  11. Hi guys... As I am not yet a cleared member of the MEPD (hoping that will be rectified soon) I have a request. I recently attended Celebratiuon in Anaheim and whilst there met a guy from the UK who has established an outposted in the Middle East. He has currently got a TD and think there are only two members at present but he asked if there was any way I could get him some MEPD merch as postage etc are very expensive plus he did'nt know if it was poss to get some in the first place. Could someone please point me in the right direction to maybe get him a hat, t-shirt , patches etc. Love the look of the pack received by new members who have cleared and was wondering if we could get this guy something similar? Any help appreciated and willing to pay for item,s obviously but any donations would be gratefully accepted as I know now that the postage will be pricey to send to the Middle East. Cheers Lee TS/TK2689
  12. Test fit and weathering.... I've noticed in alot of photo's that the weathering on a lot of our sandtroopers doesn't really show to much so have chosen to deliberately go quite dark and dirty. I know it is a personal choice but wanted to stand out from the TK's when out trooping with them as much as possible. [ur[/url]
