Viva airsoft is making them here in the US. around 700.00, looks a little different than the one posted in the picture. i've seen that other picture but from a different company asking 2000+ for it. the Viva ones are 700 as pictured about half way down this forum.. http://www.rsov.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276&page=3

its kinda like being Elite in the FISD though to be Deployed MEPD. Sorta. I think the UKG is over stepping a little to require a pack for TD status when it isnt 501st requirements ... but then again, it goes back to what someone else said a post or two back about going overboard. UKG does a lot of things differently than most Garrisons. I'll still argue to this day there are TDs on screen with no pack LOL

any chance you guys will make just a hyperfirm drum for us folks who would like to attempt making one the hard way? (less hard with an awesomely accurate drum I guess though, lol)

I've been a packless TD for 2 years. (almost out of that though, lol, thanks to Seth) But I believe you are in MEPD detachment as long as you are a TD right? Just Deployed status requires extra effort... Though there are a couple screen seen unpacked guys But I would imagine you would be fine trooping wise, you just wont be "deployed". But hey, at least you're dirty!

duh! thats a great idea, i wasnt thinking about cutting something down to size. Also, thanks to the person posting the tutorial pictures. I tried a search for various threads on the pipe but didnt know what to call it and nothing came up useful. i'll go in search of some U plastic strips this week.

thanks, that will work well enough i think. they arent even really L shaped I guess, more of a U looking shape. Thanks though, the close up helps a lot.

I am closing in on finally finishing up my backpack. Years of being here with out one and its in sight. (though I've probably gained 15 lbs and need to lose it to look good in the armor again LOL) I've even gotten a x-mas present for myself of a hyperfirm MG-34. so its within grasps. (though I've had a couple guns anyway) I got a couple of pieces I need a little advice on. The rectangle with a tube coming out of it on the top right area of the pack, its held on with some weird looking little L bracket things. Do they have a specific name? I imagine I can get them from lowes or something but it would be very helpful to know what to call them when I go asking for them. Better that than being in there for two hours looking around

Is everyone having this problem also using Firefox? I have the problem using Firefox, and I cant check at work with Explorer because for some reason work blocks these forums (but not several others I visit)

lol maybe one day i will buy one off ebay. they are up there occasionally, just not sure which size i should go for, I think the pitcher is the better shape, but its a little too tall. I could cut it up though I guess!

Goro is the guy sitting on it in the second picture He's a member of the Japan Garrison. The Dewback is at Celebration Japan right now. I cant imagine the cost of shipping it over to the states for an event, but man.. I'd chip in a little towards it if he could bring it to C5, just for the chance to be suited up and taking a picture with it. Its amazing.

that is a pretty good price, as a while back they used to go for 50.00 or more!! I found mine spelled incorrectly, as radical sub game. I got it for 16.00 shipped!!! there is a guy on ebay now selling resin add on parts that look screen accurate, specially made to fit the game, for 10.00 plus shipping. Here is mine, before I add the resin parts, as I just got them a couple weeks ago and havent had time to work on it: game still works too, lol. though I cant for the life of me play it worth a darn. I added screw eyelets so I can add a sling or attach it to the belt, havent decided yet There are soda fountain bag connections and such on it in those pictues as the lenses, but I took those off in prep for the resin kit... here is a link to the resin cast pieces!! well, didnt see any So I would get a set of strips cut from one!

I'll know tonight if I am in for a set of cut pieces... cause I am gonna try the sprinkler section tonight, and if no 1/4 " soaker hose exists at my lowes, then I would like some.

I went by lowes trying to find soaker hose lol, only thing I found was large garden sized ones. Can you recall what part of the store you were in you found it near? IE sprinklers/garden center or somewheres else...

that one dude did it again didnt he... didnt line up by height lol I can see him by his odd looking hip pouches. likes to be up front, even though he is taller than you guys :/ I would participate in the group photo, but its already been planned to do Endor commando's that day. That and being the Rebel Base commander, I have to be rebelled out on the big weekends I'll probably do TD next weekend though. or TIE

I think I'll be giving this a shot with my cushman! I cant make up my mind what color to get... I like the idea of all green since some blaster bolts were green.. but I like blue. and rainbow is pretty. darn it all!!

Anyone have screen grabs of this guy? We were talking about him at an armor party over the weekend.. Edit: from what I see the no pack guy looks to have an orange pauldron, lol so maybe he's lost his marbles... but if there IS a white pauldron version any one knows of, lemme know. lol
