Absolutely! This is why Rick and I do what we do. To make sure the MEPD is the best outfitted group out there.

Mine is a little different, but detailed. It is a poured black resin faceplate.

That's one of my earlier builds. Looks like a base pack that the RS guys added some of their own stuff to. Not my shells or mortar tube. The upper canister looks a bit off too. Def my tool box, Radio, stinger, lab pipe, syphon, frame and older exhaust port.

I have made about 4 packs for RS over the past year including one for the AF Project. They have contacted me about more.

Rick is right. You need to drop the tupperware container a bit to line things up better. That piece is original to the film packs. You have to remember that some of the other parts we make and use are based on estimations of size. Not all parts from the originals are known so we do the best we can to get these parts as close to screen accurate as possible. Looks great. Keep up the great work.

On Saturday, May 4th, 2013, the Empire City Garrison attended a very special Fundraiser on behalf of the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation. Our host for the event was Jacob Cascioli, Owner of Jumpin Jakes in Fishkill, NY. The event was to help the foundation raise some much needed funds as well as awareness for Pediatric Cancer Research. The Ty Louis Campbell Foundation is named after a local boy named Ty, who was affectionately known as Super Ty. Little Ty was stricken at a very early age with Brain Cancer and recently lost his battle with the disease at the age of 5. More on Super Ty's story and the "Muddy Puddles Project" can be found at www.SuperTy.org The Troop was a HUGE success with over 150 people in attendance, of which close to 70 were children. Through the sale of admission tickets as well as auctions of donated Star Wars Merchandise, we were able to raise a total of $1,920 for the Foundation. Figured I would chime in on this since it is past the date for the event I was sworn to secrecy on. Both myself and MEPD TD6513 (Dave Braun) were scheduled to make a very hush hush appearance at Hasbro Headquarters in Manhattan on Saturday, Feb 9th for the unveiling of the new Sandtrooper figures. Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided to dump over 20 inches of snow on our area and we couldn't get into the city. Needless to say, both Dave and myself were VERY disappointed. As we are only 2 of 3 active MEPD Officers in our Garrison right now (Lou P. being the other), it was nice to see that our Command Staff as well as Hasbro were on the ball to get 2 very accurate Sandies for there promotion. We were sure to walk out of there with a few of these bad boys for our time, but alas, it was not meant to be.

I use aluminum rivets and washers. I try to use rivets when I can instead of bolts to help keep weight down.

I use the same type of Vitamin bottles as DB. I also like to use the 600ml / 20ounce aluminum sports bottles when I can find them at a good price.
