  1. Sounds like, in my absence, everyone has pointed you in the right direction. Since your original deployment request, we now require the four button strip on the ab plate to be changed to a two button strip. You will also still need to modify your pack. I will also require several detail shots, one of the left side of your MG-34 to make sure that it has the added ammo cover and disk greeblie.
  2. Welcome back John! Shoot me a PM with your contact info (i lost everything a while back) and we'll have to get together some time as I'm living in Denton now! Welcome to the MEPD Harald, Pat, and Julie, if you're looking to get Dirty, you've come to the right place!
  3. Hmm... Maybe we've got a winner for the next merch run!
  4. Those cards rock! How long does one take you start to finish? I imagine that now that you've done a few, you've got a template and just have to play with image placement and basic text layout?
  5. Those pauldrons look decent, but I would suggest doing a search for trooper1's pauldrons on here. He sells what might be the best pauldron to date, and at a great price too!
  6. That's some awesome artwork! I love seeing other peoples work! I agree that something strange is going on with the text, but don't think it sould be centered, I really like the weight that the image itself has. The viewer is drawn to the left to follow the gaze of the sandtrooper, so I feel like "The Empire" and "Needs You" should be split into two lines so as to make them closer to the same length. Then I think that the text should all be pushed to the left margin to take away from the weight of the 'trooper's gaze. ePS : Sorry for the art critique, I couldn't resist the perpetual art student in me.
  7. Awesome shoot! An easy way to fix the biceps-being-swallowed-by-the-shoulder-bell problem (don't really know what else to call it), is to attach a piece of elastic, with snaps, to the top of the forearm and the bottom of the bicep. If it is still necessary, you should lengthen the strap for the bicep. I had the same problem, and rearanging the strapping eliminated the need for a handler to do so.
  8. I love your painting Nathan! I can't believe it that you haven't painted in years. I just can't paint, or draw, for that matter! Yeah, I'm a potter, but I so verey rarely sketch any of my work before I make it. Maybe I should start. Post up some sketches Rolf! I know you must draw a lot, and you know I LOVE your work!
  9. Those two helmets look great! What color/brand of paint did you use for the beige HDPE look on the ANH bucket?
  10. Congratulations Seann! You are now Officially Deployed as an Officer of the Mos Eisley Police Department!
  11. All I have to say is wow! :o Every time I see a great looking clone, it makes me want to give it a go! Superb job!
  12. Woohoo and congratulations! Nice to add another member to Star Garrison! Now lets get you Deployed!
  13. Congratulations Rob! You are now Officially Deployed as an Officer of the Mos Eisley Police Department!
  14. Congratulations Michael! You are now Officially Deployed as an Officer of the Mos Eisley Police Department!
  15. It looks like the only thing that you need to submit is a bucket-off photo and then you'll be good to go!
  16. No need to suit up again, I just need to see pics of the modified pack as that detail won't show up in any of your deployment photos. Let's get you Deployed!
  17. I was just giving you a hard time about the beret and trying to get some MEPD-FISD rivalry going at the same time. If you get a MEPD patch for your beret, I'd be more than happy to change your Deployed bucket off pic (once you're deployed that is). As for the Hasbro, you will either need to modify it as per the Requirements, aka the CRL, or dig out your resin blaster for some photos. The modifications to the sniper knee plate and the pack are not necessary for Deployment, but both mods will bring your kit just that one step closer to perfection. The knee mod will save you countless hours of pain and misery while trooping. Trust me when I say that armor bites suck...
  18. Thanks for those verification photos! It must be that one bump that I'm seeing. It gives it a strange almost curved look in two of the photos. I look forward to getting you Deployed!
  19. Looking absolutely top notch! The only thing that I can see is that the hoses on the pack need to come off. Other than that, you did one **** of a job!
  20. That is just too cool! I'd love to see some footage!
  21. Yep, you're going to need to add an knob to the upper right of your radio on your pack. I also need to see an image to verify that you have flat green lenses, as it looks like you have bubble lenses in two of the photos. Oh, and I also need a new bucket off photo, you totally can't have your MEPD Deployment photo be one in which you're wearing a FISD beret! Lol, I'm only half kidding, you don't really need to change your bucket off photo unless you want to.
  22. Absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to see these face plates on some packs!
  23. After much discussion amongst the command staff, we've come to the decision that your pack also needs a few fix-its. The syphon and hamburger stackers need to be combined into one piece as seen here: (hope you don't mind me using your image Scootch!) You also need to add a dial to the upper right corner of your radio faceplate and trim the extra elastic where your pack straps meet the pack. Just a bit more and then you are there!
