  1. I'll paint it for..... one MILLION dollars! **Extended Dr. Evil Pinky to corner of mouth, lips silghtly pooted in mischievous pose**
  2. Yeah, the "pillar look" is what I prefer too! I use black electrical tape to tape off the teeth as it "bends" and "moulds" the contours without "crinkling", which makes for an EXCELLENT tape line. I don't hand paint as much as possible, and I sure don't mix the stuff, LOL. You must be a true artist!
  3. IRON MAIDEN!! EXCELLENT!!! You'll take my life but I'll take yours too, you fire your musket but I'll run you through, so when your waiting for the next attack, you better stand theres no turning back.... (opening lyrics from Iron Maiden's - "The Trooper") ok, I'm dating myself with this tune from my High School "Daze", LOL
  4. Hey bruddah! If you still need some bottom helmet trim, I'd be happy to send you a 3' length for free, to help you out. Just PM me your address. Let me know!
  5. Congratulations on your membership!! I told you Dean would cut through the crap and take care of you!
  6. That kicks butt! OUT-FRIKIN'-STANDING!
  7. Pretty nice! Do those lights on the radio box light up? With or without armor, you should take pictures with it on your back to give a better sense of its scale.
  8. OK, that just ain't right!
  9. I have found the curing time can vary a bit depending on the ambient temperature, but you have a window of anywhere from 7-10 mins. if you are trying to use it as a filler (I use it to scratch build E-11's) and it hardens enough to file/sand/bond in 10-20 minutes. It's made by "Super Glue", it's a twin-tubed syringe dispensed creme-colored epoxy, says "Plastic Fusion" on the package backer-card, and I've only been able to find it at Home Depot near the paint/caulk section where they keep all the other epoxies and CA type glue. It's sells for $3 & change here in Oregon.
  10. Rustoleum Smoke Grey here, too. I masked off the frown with black electrical tape as it really forms around the contours of the teeth quite well, and seals down real tight along its edge, making for a nice very clean and crisp paint line! Be sure to keep the rest of the bucket covered from over spray while painting! Use the same color for the rear trapazoids and "tears" under the eyes. yeah, yeah... I know its a clean bucket! Its before I hit dirtside! (edited for a STUPID typo!!)
  11. Mike, That rig is EXCELLENT! When you gonna put the ribs on the Lewis Gun?
  12. Hey, for what it's worth Devcon has actually given me problems too... guess where... the SHINS! Home Depot has this stuff called "Plastic Fusion", and I'm here to tell you that stuff is the shizitz. I assembled my bucket with it and there is not one screw or rivet used on it. It's been dropped, and bounced down the isles in Wal-Mart with no breakage, plus trooped with outdoors during Halloween that was pretty danged cold. I'm pretty ******* my armor, and I have NEVER had a joined piece using "Plastic Fusion" fail on me, EVER. FYI- My armor is made from HIPs.
  13. I told you Dean can slice through the halls of apathy!
  14. bwahahahahahAAA.......... We just don't let a THING slide around here!
  15. LOL... Nothing like word of mouth and pictures for advertising! These things really ARE lightwieght, they break down so they will fit into your armor crate for transporting, and the detail on them is excellent! Remember, mine was the prototype, and Bill already posted on what improvements he is doing, so it is only going to IMPROVE on an already kick-Jawa-butt product! All you will have to do is weather it to your tastes! You will NOT be disappointed if you get one of these!
  16. well, good thing my comment was tongue-in-cheeck and not an accusation.
  17. Here are some professionaly taken photos of our TD squad here in Portland, Oregon, USA!! I'm the White Pauldroned TD If you are interested in obtaining a BFG like mine check out ArsonSmith's thread: http://www.sandtrooper.net/forum/viewtopic...der=asc&start=0 BIKER SCOUTS NEED NOT APPLY!!! Sandies on one side, all others... go do whatever! {SMILIES_PATH}/duim.gif
  18. LOL... remember guys, it's NOT the size of the BFG that matters... it's how you use it!
  19. lol ok so I wasn't the only one who thought that as well? I didn't want to say anything because..well...whenever I try to "read between the lines" turns out I find myself illiterate and reading wrongly. LOL... well as long as you aren't reading between a three finger salute!!
  20. TK7606, You have made a LOT of progress since you last posted pictures of your clean & unmodified armor. EXCELLENT WORK my friend, EXCELLENT!! The only thing I see for a suggestion is the remaining four buttons on the ab plate need to come off, as well and get the boots dirty! Don't feel bad about the buttons, I did the same thing too, and when I dirtied my boots I forgot to dirty the elastic sides on them... I consider you an asset to the MEPD and the 501st... when membership processing gets it together, and gets you taken care of!!
