  1. HEY ROB!!! It's about flippin' time!! Welcome aboard, hope to see you start trooping with us in CCG real soon!
  2. YEAH, what Rocko said! He can help you if you need assistance!
  3. That's the worst flippin' job I have EVER seen.... you should send it to me! Honestly Mel, That is just about as good as it can get short of a hyper-firm, de-miled, or vac-formed version! Verrrry niiiiice, now you have me insprired!
  4. I currently use 1" web-strap and I've worn it for 5+ hours straight, I can't say I've had my arm(s) fall asleep, but I have gotten a few friction burns along the outer edge of my pectoral muscles taking the damned thing off!
  5. Seth musta been a neglected kid growing up, and had to resort to all sorts of untoward methods for gaining attention!!
  6. I lightly sanded mine with a mouse sander to knock the bumpy texture down a bit, this also removed the bulk of the green dye as well allowing the black dye to directly penetrate the leather.
  7. LMAO... sad but true, huh guys? I get an occassional jab from the wife as well, but at least I can blame HER for getting me started on this hobby. After seeing that Tribute to George Lucas on Sci-Fi with William Shatner and the TK's on stage I mentioned how I always wished I had a set of Armor... the next day I busted her doing a web-search looking for some... then I took over and the rest is history! LMAO
  8. Yeah Bill, that is dead nuts the same as yours... I should know, I have your first "prototype". I wonder when that was made?
  9. What am I, chopped Jawa? Seriously folks, lets keep this thread on topic. There are other threads out there that go into debate about whether or not you truly need a BFG, backpack and other required gear to become part of the elite MEPD. Heck, I'm the Webmaster of MEPD.net but I'm not yet qualified to be truly a part of it, as I'm missing flat green lenses and my ab plate. In time, though, I'll be a part of it. LOL!! Sorry Chris it's early and I'm not quite clear in my brain yet! But in light of your confession of being without all the proper MEPD mods you ARE indeed "chopped Jawa", webmaster or not! LOL (J/K) OK, back on topic troopers!!
  10. Theres a trooper without a pauldron and there is one without a field pack as well, but the listed requirements apply to everyone requesting MEPD deployment. BTW, I recommend we keep this thread for what it's supposed to be; Request for deployment with the appropriate pictures, not the over debated BFG or Field Pack issue. I'd hate to see Seth, Guns, or Mike put the "smack-down" on anyone who hijacks this thread with off-topic isues!
  11. This is a copy and paste from the MEPD requirements "WHAT IT TAKES" page (the link is upper left 2nd row down on this web page).... If you lack even ONE THING from the list, you are a no-go! __________________________________________________ What does it take to be a deployed officer of the MEPD. Beside having the fallowing requirements set by the 501st to acquire a TD desination: A BFG ( Big Friggin Gun) Pouches Backpack The Mos Eisley Police Department requirements that a Deployed Sandtrooper must have: Flat Lenses Backpack MP40 or 38 ammo pouches, BFG (Either the Lewis 21, MG15, or the MG34 type) Diamond Knee plates Sandtrooper Stomach plate* most important: GET DIRTY
  12. I have only ONE problem with them.... with all that foam lining, they look too comfortable!!
  13. LMAO... I hope you aren't going to tell us you did this naked and spilled dye down your front side as well!
  14. I can't help it... this one is my current favorite AND is my desktop wallpaper ATM.
  15. Psst... Kat... that's because you ARE short!! LOLOLOLOLOlolololol........
  16. Kat, you might call the TK on the far left and ask him where he got his!
  17. If you think Washington State's flag is bad with "Barbara Bush's" face on it, consider Oregon's... it has a BEAVER on the back for gawd's sake! I ain't putting no FREAKIN' BEAVER on my shoulder bell.
  18. Stomper

    help!

Ayup, I have to turn my head to the right and rotate it back as I bring the bucket down on my noggin'. Fortunately I got LASIK surgery some years back and enjoy 20/15 vision for the $3,000.00 it cost back then! I hear that nowadays you can get it done for around $1500.00 or so.... talk about being on the bleeding edge!! I used to have 20/400 vision , but now I can see the wrinkles on a knat's *** from accross the street!!
  19. MIKE!! You put ribs on your Hyper-firm Lewis Gun!! It looks fantastic, what did you wind up using?! Very Cool on the East German Hat.... I think I'll start that here in Oregon.
