I did the same with mine but a little different weathering trick - I did black paint all the way - then used a paint touchup pen (with the ball point) to go over the edges and add some silver paint exposed much similar to yours. The rust is raw umber paint: ps didn't want to start a new thread to show the pics and saw you had a very similar kit and build to mine great work btw

TM - have any pics of how the shoulders should look?
