  1. i use an armor tote and roller tote. helmet, pack and accessories in one....armor in the other
  2. Off to a good start brother. My suggestion would be grab the reference material on the trooper you are replicating and go through it as if it wasn't your own. SWAT is tough and whatever fixes you can do pre evaluation will save you time down the road. Have a great day man!
  3. Good day brothers and sisters of the MEPD.. Discussions and voting for proposed changes for the 2015 CRL update are now available. You can locate in the recruitment section
  4. Agreed....stay away from the "store bought" armor lol
  5. Hey Paul, yes it could be with a little bit of work. At this point i would probably just keep your set up and if down the road you've got some other adjustments you want to do, tackle them at the same time.
  6. The old are still fine Al....they have fit the part for so long and I'm sure will be seen on packs in the future. But like the old "burger stacker" cistern builds, they will eventually disappear.
  7. For years we've all been using the frost king cold weather faucet covers thanks to the original members of the MEPD getting us something so close.....About 2 years ago the manufacturer changed their design and they became harder and harder to find. Over the last 6 months or so there has been lots of research on this part and ultimately it has been determined the part was the GSTYLE canteens. Time to move forward with the new. There are a few makers and versions out there or you could hunt for the original.
  8. TM is awesome....you can also reach out to walts trooper factory. They have a Facebook page as well and even though it's US based they will work with you on price
  9. Cool stuff Nick....nice to see new materials coming into play brother.
  10. You can go basic pack builds for police officer status or to just look awesome when trooping or you can get into more advanced screen accurate packs that will cost more. No pack will be 100% accurate since original parts used are really not available to purchase. Raw materials would cost you about $75.....a kit would double that and a full build costs between 2 and 3 hundred.
  11. Don't stress brother. There are other armor makers out there that can supply replacement parts if needed. Building armor is tough and definitely don't want to just start cutting.
  12. Looking great man!! Nice work. I know this journey has been a long one. Good luck brother
  13. Do we have the name of the gentleman you found that his grandmother gave to?
  14. Ya I've been searching forever. Have a radio that I've been able to use parts from but not the original. Crazy how with all the push to locate we've not come up with one
  15. Growing....a little at a time
  16. Hey troops....I've been getting lots of requests lately for troopers looking to change their display names. should be all caught up but if anyone would like to request it.....here's your thread
