  1. For what it's worth: http://cgi.ebay.nl/FRENCH-LARGE-BLACK-LEAT...p3286.m63.l1177 This is the one I've got. For 5 bucks you can't just keep it there Vincent
  2. from what i could gather, the millennium falcon is in the prequels. just goes by a different name and paint scheme. as this is being typed on my playstation 3, cant check myself. its bound to be on wookieepedia.
  3. Dude that is frikkin awesome! I was looking for just this piece yesterday. I even tried my luck in sketchup but gee wiz, this saves time! Thank you so much for this aid! Vincent
  4. http://www.looksirdroids.com/replica_pouches_ind_01.htm <- though this begs to differ. Either way I am not forking out another 40$ for just one pouch . Got the spanish/french one for 4 bucks and that sounds just about right for me .
  5. Still need a radio and pauldron (well and neckseal + belt but Dargas isn't responding to PM's )!
  6. Yeah I got the move-along shoulder pouch and the French/Spanish one. I assume the longer pouch of the MP40 can be used as a hip pouch? (don't want to hijack)
  7. They're from www.thegardensuperstore.co.uk Though looks can be decieving, instead of dimples they're 'outcrops'. they're multi/gravel trays... Also I found out that the size of those trays are the exact standard size of a cakepan. Even cookingbooks refer to a 13 x 9 inch pan. They're too expensive for me, and I got crashmann's boxes in order now (checking the boxes now ) Vincent
  8. Just wondering Dimensions: Length 22cm, Width 16.5cm, Height 6cm. Dimensions: Length 8.66 inches, Width 6.49 inches, Height 2.36 inches (honestly googling '16.5cm to inch' (google converter) gets you odd first hit results on Answers.Yahoo )
  9. Since you get 2 pouches from the mp40, can you carry one of them on your hip? Cos I bought the mp40 and the french/spanish rectangle pouch. Vincent
  10. Well, hope these help. At least I got an indication of the leather straps as you can see the dots on the pouches where the straps should end (or stick out). It's the highest rez I could get .
  11. Inventor is friggin awesome! I used to be tech support for rapid-prototypers as well as automotive developers, the things those guys create with it are simply jaw-dropping! Keep up the good work! I might even inspire my radio on your radio build! Vincent
  12. Today I spent some time on the internets checking the ebay and a local equivalent for some backpack items. I really want to support the kit-builders but heck I'm a student so money gained on items and shipping is money gained eh? At the moment I bought: Tupperware cups Stow n Store (or whatever it is called ) Burger Stacker MP-40 Pouches French Pouch (only 4 dollars!!!) Also, I bought this VoiceAmp! The frame will be done by PVC. I still need a good radio... Though with the incident on the forums I am not quite sure where to get a good Sonix Victory replica anymore. Also seed trays are highly sought after, though I will check the local farmers market or gardening store. Apart from that I need the siphon & faucet cover... Well see this as a placeholder for my backpack hehe. Vincent P.S. Feedback is welcome! (and tips on what pauldron to go with the french pouch/backpack are welcome too. I was thinking orange?) Burger stackers and tupperware cups as you can see are quite overly available, if you need some I can think up a price for them if need be. Kudos to Dutchy, who's been helping me out from the start !
  13. It was an unnamed brand... Lay in the discount bin for about 3 euro's I reckon. Had this lip on the side to open the box. Also there was a movable cap integrated in the lid that you could use to pour liquid out (though we always used it for chocolate sprinkles on holidays ). I just bondoed that shut and cut the lip off with my plastic cutters. Hope that helps? Vincent
  14. Posted this on the FISD earlier, though I think it is more befitting for the MEPD . Hey there troops! Yesterday I went to a camping store to get myself some webbing, man was I in for a surprise! I am planning to make a Heavy Weapons Trooper, so eventually I will have to make myself a backpack and perhaps some other sandy accessories. Now I was strolling around the camping stuffs and found some items that made me think of that screen-used macrobinocular, used by a Sandtrooper. Now with some scrounging through the piles of items I found some items that could prove useful to me. Now a rundown of what I used to make this little accesory: A cheap tupperwear-wannabe container, conveniently shaped like the rangefinder/electrobinocs. A doorhandle 2 round push-knobs for caravan doors. 1 thingy to stick into tentpoles to make them have an iron hook on it. 1 tube with attachmentring (the most expensive part as they didn't sell seperately lol) Several wooden shish-kebob sticks So I bondoed the attachmentring to the end of the container, added the casing of the caravandoorknobs upside-down on the lid of the container to use as eyeholes and bondoed them as well. Put a knob upside-down next to the attachmentring for the left greeblie. Then I drilled a hole in the place where the right greeblie should be, and cut the plastic cap to the 'cross' (so that it appears as the greeblie seen on the movie) of the tentpolethingy. Secured that with bondo and added the doorhandle as a sunscreen above the eyeholes. Added advantage were the holes in the handle to attach it. I can now put a piece of string or such through them! Well here's my budget-binoc. Enjoy! The white stuff in the background is my ATA armor being made . Mom 'n Dad are on a holiday for a week or so so the livingroom has become my personal armor shop . Vincent
  15. Merugear from FISD reporting in! Since I was planning to do a clean Heavy Weapons Trooper, and I botched up the paintjob on my helmet, thus making it accidentally look very much weathered... I'm going dirty all the way! The Sandtrooper has always been one of my favorites cos of all the additional props... and well for me looks more realistic. Anyways, hope to share some good times with you people here at MEPD, still have to get my eyes used to the sandy theme of the forums, but apart from that... I'll just move along . Take care, be safe! Vincent
