  1. Agreed, I love mine as well. Great armor, definitely jealous, wish I could fit into that for sure. Good luck on it and it will be fun to watch your progress.
  2. Well being "a little short for a Stormtrooper" does have it's disadvantages lol.
  3. I have seen that pic recently as well, the E-11 was mounted on somebody's pack on the left side, it was interesting.
  4. Now and again on non-canon troops, I will carry my e-ll, holstered. I am just using my old TK canvas belt that has two snaps in the belt, on the left side. The holster easily un-snaps when I don't want to use it. I'll look for a pic and post it up, or take one real quick.
  5. Well, this is TD2884 with my official request to join the ranks of the deployed MEPD. TD2884 Seann Finnegan "Plastic Fury" Everglades Squad Florida Garrison
  6. I always like these threads to see all the differences. My weathering is a bit heavy for some and it's funny, I was the opposite of nol. I started out light the first time, because I thought I would like it that way but I realized I wanted it dirty. So after the third time, I was happy but I do find myself making changes here and there over time lol.
  7. haha it is funny to miss that. The vader's father bit reminds me of a small story. A co-worker who is a bit older than myself, saw EPV in the theater on opening night, in 1980. He was waiting in line for the second showing when somebody leaving the movie theater shouted very loudly "Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father!!!" He said it was not very pleasant in the crowd after that lol, I can't imagine.
  8. Ooooh very nice, I love that it has all the labeling too, that looks sharp man.
  9. Did you add the center strap on your back pack straps?? I need to do that with mine, they like to slide apart a bit.
  10. Haha I posted originally that I have a second tool box lid, that lid is for non-canon troops and was a great spot to toss up some squad love!
  11. Haha that photo is why I went with the five teeth in the first place, I have always liked that look best and if it can be left that way for deployment, I will leave it for sure. I will work on the pack weathering a bit more then gotta send in my pics for my TD to my GML for approval, then I'll submit here for deployment, can't wait.
  12. Yeah I have a second toolbox lid that will be used for canon troops and for my deployment pics, so no worries there. As for the teeth, I knew that would have to be changed, I have two small pieces of abs that I will just glue in behind to take care of that, easy fix.
  13. I also rock the Under Armor two-piece set, heat gear for South Florida and it works amazingly well for this climate. The two piece is nice for obvious reasons and it's held up well over this last year so I am pretty satisfied.
  14. My .02 would be to remove them, the reason I say that is that there is such a great mix of friendly people on this board that any new guy that posts, would be helped in the main board by somebody of his/her language just as fast as in those sections.
  15. We had a troop this evening and I had a handler grab a few quick pics of me with my camera before hand. I want to add a bit more weathering to the pack and in the pics, my tool box cover is obviously non-canon with my squad decal on it. I have a canon cover as well that will be on for my deployment request pics ( I will also take a better set of pics as you can't see the three ab buttons in these and close-ups of my belt/shoulder straps). I think I have nailed everything but just wanted to get opinions from the masters. Do the dials on the radio have to be black? I kinda like them as they are but will paint them if necessary, I have a dial decal on the way from TK4510 (eventually plan to trick that out with lights and sound anyway but for now). I followed Scooch's awesome tutorial for the pack, that was fun but I certainly see why they are not cheap to buy built lol. Any opinions are welcome, good or bad.
  16. Looking good man, you should be up and running in no time!!
  17. Haha he does have a nice collection indeed. Thanks, I think that one looks close enough, i'll go ahead and grab one. -Seann
  18. Anybody have anything on this? This is the last thing I need to finish for deployment and want to make sure it's correct.
  19. Looks awesome, I love it. Loving the sides that are always visible in my 24" widescreen monitor!!
  20. He is referring to Crashmann (his s/n on this board), he sells the TD field pack kit and I am sure will post up a new thread when it's time to start selling them, no worries man.
  21. Glad to hear it. I am wanting to trick out my radio with a real speaker, sound and with lighting but now I may just wait and see what this one is like, then mod it instead.
  22. Thats the toolbox, you can find all the dimensions you need in this thread here; http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=1728 That should take care of it for you, I am gluing up that very same thing for my pack as I type this lol. Good luck bro.
