I want to thank everyone who donated to this great cause! I actually raised the most money out of my team! My total raised was $290 and my team raised a total of $4612!!! The race was great, I had a blast! I ran it in aprox 28 mins. Its really hard to tell because there were way too many people at the start line, and many walkers and strollers did not place themselves in the back as they were suppossed to, so the first 5-8 minutes were spent walking, slowly, and then zig-zagging past all the walkers. I didnt actually start running until I was about 1/8 of a mile from the start line! :roll: The surprising thing to me was how much fun I actually had! I was in the ARMY for 7 1/2 years and had to run every day. I always hated it and was never good at it. When I got out I didnt think I'd run, on purpose, ever again. So you can imagine my surprise when I actually felt good and had fun doing this! Now my wife, daughter and I want to start doing these runs on a regular basis! Again thanks to everyone who contributed, it is because of you that I commited to getting my butt out there on the pavement and helping a great cause! Hey everyone, been away for a while. I started a channel on justintv called The Star Wars Room. Right now Im just tinkering with it, it's broadcasting mostly during the day now while Im unemployed. Im thinking of doing a weekly "show" or lifecast (think podcast with a camara), where I talk about Star Wars news from around the country. Also show off new additions to my collections. Viewers can try to "stump the stormie" where they throw Star Wars questions at me and I try to answer them as well as "collection challenge", think of a Star Wars collectible, and see if I have it! As soon as I come up with a good schedule and complete the format I'll announce the day and time. I showed up late, by the time I got to the parade staging area, ALL group pics were done....OOPS Not to mention I was wearing CDR Bly. But it was great seeing everyone again and meeting new fellow officers too! Later

Anyone going to DC next year, try to make it out to this. It is a great and hilarious show and the guys that put it on are all great! This is a Star Wars contest, "Who's Line is it Anyway" style! Last year I came in runner up and this year Im going for it again! I am preparing as I type this, got a new intro in the works (it'll be a BLAST from the past!), among other things. Agreed. That's the kind of thing you have to know who to share with, but it in the end, who really cares what ANYONE thinks of our stunts? The fact of the matter is that we own that armor and are free to do with it as we please. Secondly, we did that in private, after an event (not during), and away from public view so no one has any reason to complain about it. Not that you have to go and explain yourself to anyone about it! Im not surprised that people on the legion boards got a bug up their butts about it though, I really dont spend too much time on there myself because there are too many people there that take this hobby way too seriously, and personally, I believe that the day this is no longer fun is the day I should quit. I got my **** chewed over there when I posted a warning to other garrisons to watch their boards for hacks after I noticed the SO getting hacked not 1 month after ours did. And someone got on my **** about making accusations and starting a panick or something stupid like that. WTF?!? You're welcome!!! Oh well, just goes to show that you just cant please everyone, even when youre trying to help them. I guess what Im trying to say is have fun doing what you do, and if you want to share it, do it with the groups that you know, ie: here and our local boards, and (and this is only a recommendation ), keep the legion boards for business only. But that's just my opinion Later

Sorry guys, didnt wear TD for the parade, wore my Bly as mentioned before, got a good clonetroopers group pic, but missed out on the TD shot, and I really wanted to do that one too! Maybe we can make this a regular at D-con and plan our pic either before or after the parade, seems to have worked out good this year During the night I promised my new super secret costume, remember the "believe it or not" comment earlier? Here it is in the company of my wife Leighann debuting her Tour Guide Barbie from Toy Story 2: Again, awesome seeing everyone again, and meeting those that we met for the first time this year! Im bringing both my TD and Bly. Since I just finished Bly I plan to have him for the parade and Legion photos along with the clonetroopers.net dinner of course. Any other time Ill probably have my TD during the day so I should be easy to spot. At night Ill be debuting my new, secret, non-SW costume and Im actually changing my appearance for it so I might be a little hard to recognize then. Believe it or not! My wife's most recognizable costumes will be Yssane Isard (IceHeart from the books, red imperial officer's uniform with black hair and a white streak, and one red eye) and she'll also have her new "Fem-TIE" which Im sure will turn a few heads So we should be fairly easy to spot! Well so far that makes three of us I plan to be at most of the legion events: clonetroopers get-together at Hooters, Fri at 6pm. The legion dinner, the parade and the photos so just ask at any of those events for Hippie or if Im wearing my CDR Bly just look for that. I guess we could play it by ear from there. Later

How about it guys? How many are interested in a get-together at D-con. Either get together for food or a group photo. LMK so we can set something up. Later

Going off of last year I can think of two good times to do this. Right after the parade on Sat. the RL got together for a group pic over by the bank steps, we could do it right after them. Then on Sun morning (late morning that is ) also at the bank steps we did the 501st group shot, we could do an MEPD after that. Some people hung out for other group shots (Imperial officers, 501st Southern Outpost, ect.) Do we have enough members that are coming that are interested? Which day sounds better? Post your thoughts here and we'll make a decision based on that. Also, I dont have a professional camara, if anyone does please let us know. I know a photographer that is coming, Ill see what I can do on my end. If no one is interested in a group photo we could get together for dinner one night and get to meet and greet! Personally I'd like to get a group shot but lets make a decision here first. Later
