  1. Thanks again all. My TD armour is also a Movie FX but an earlier version with a less sharp chest and slighter smaller size to fit my build better. My TK makes a lot of noise when I walk. <_<
  2. I don't smoke. Other than health issue, it's too expensive to smoke in Singapore. Cigarettes here cost a bomb. Not to mention lots of "No Smoking" areas in public.
  3. How about the "Got Sand?" t-shirt? Any chance of another run?
  4. Thanks guys for the comment. This is actually my 1st armour, as some of them guessed, a Movie-FX. No worries I still have my dirty armour with me. It's my pride so no way am I going to clean it, make it more dirtier a definitely YES! ^^ Just feel like visiting my FISD comrades over at the Death Star so dug out this clean armour. Long story behind this armour. Apparently the marker is always having problem shipping out stuff. He still owes me and my CO 2 helmets but after all these years I have given up hope. It's a miracle the rest of the armour even arrived! The helmet I am using in this shot is a TE.
  5. LOL Rick, I reckon 1 bottle aren't enough to clean any one of us from head to bottom.
  6. Taking the shots outdoor is the best. Indoor lightning at home can never beat good old sunshine. Unless it's studio shoot with proper lightning equipment. I don't like shots shot with flash as well. Unless it's a proper external flash. Flash often give ghastly results. Subject too bright, especially since our armour is kinda reflective and background all dark. Choosing a simple background helps too.
  7. And turn into this. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=10218
  8. I see 3 buttons on the abs. The 4th button looks like forcefully taken out leaving quite a mark. Is that OK for deployment?
  9. I have no ideas what you guys are talking about. I have never watched Star Wars. ^^;
  10. OK Nol, (ya it's me again) I noticed that whenever I log out of the forums, all the avatars in the posts disappeared. Is that normal? Secondly, some signature of members are too long, example below. Will the forum be able to crop it? Drinks on me next time.
  11. I agree that gender aren't much use since we can tell by the name but I feel that "Date Joined" is useful, well at least to me. I was at another forum (non star wars) and there was this person who joined in 1999. That's 11 years in a forums. wow! Of course, this is just a small matter and I respect the final decision. The forums is already looking better and better every single day. Cheers!
  12. Looking for droids

  13. Hey Paul, The "MEPD Police Officer" under your avatar is more like a title given based on how long you are in the forum since you joined or post count. Mine is Police Sergeant. Hey Nol, Saw the "501st", "Member" and "Command" icons. Nice! How about an additional "MEPD Deployed" under the "501st", "Member" and "Command" icons? A "Date Joined" will be cool since most forums have it.
  14. May I suggest adding a "MEPD deployed" rank under the avatar or name of deployed officers? This way it's easier to identify who's deployed and I think it will look pretty cool. No biggie if it's too much work.
  15. Well done Noel, u deserve another bag of sand from me. btw can we have a quick reply box at the bottom?
  16. NICE! Maybe the absolutely one last thing you need to do now is to take an action shot for your deployment pic. Congrats!

Thank you Paul for the information and also to Noel for putting in the Sandie groups. I didn't knew there was a "Sandtroopers Only" sub forum under "501st Only" until now.
  18. Roger Roger. I'll hang out at our MEPD Facebook page at the meantime.

Really Noel? But I see lot of people under Sandtrooper group and I'm very sure they are 501st members as well.
  20. looksirdroids.com, Mike and Chris (TK409) are my favourite sites. Got all my information and resources from them. How about Rachel Smith's site as well? She has a nice tutorial there as well. http://www.tk2441.co.uk/main.htm

I thought u already have a nice beautiful droid at home? ^^; btw nice changes. Noel is quite the whiz at graphic and designing. btw just curious guys, are all of you using widescreen? I'm using 1680x1050 resolution and I can see Mos Eisley as the forum background. And i think the Deployed troopers page need to be redesigned. I'm using firefox 3.6. Every time I click on a trooper's thumbnail, Firefox will automatically minimise itself to a smaller window. The individual Deployed troopers' profile page has layout issues as well.
