Wondering if anyone has found a suitable sound effect file for the T21 blaster? i have a great one for my E-11, but that obviously is to puny and tinny for the BFG. Doesnt necessarily have to be a screen accurate sound...just curious if anyone has found a good soundfile.

My first troop ever with the 501st and OMG SO MUCH FUN!!! i would have walked that floor for 8 hours straight if my body had let me lol. the reactions from kids and adults alike was just overwhelming. met some great people, bought some cool toys, overall one of the funnest things ive ever done! thanks to all my new friends at the badlands garrison for being so helpful and supportive on my first troop here be the pics!

bit of an update: we tried to get a picture taken right as i fired the blaster. took a few tries but this one turned out awesome! somehow we got a blue effect, but thats a pretty sweet pic. no photoshopping at all. theres one, set for stun!!

I like your weathering. I too prefer a more subtle approach i went for something a little more sandstonish, but tried to go for that same subtlety.

well, ive posted a bit already, but i guess ill make it official TD-3139 reporting in! im so stoked lol cant wait to get out there and do some troops and get to know more members of this great organisation!

whats it run in the 1/4? i might have a little 4 banger cobalt that would surprise you My wifes fiero would be a fun race too. i mean....its just a fiero right? *grin*

Im sure some already saw this on whitearmor, but ill post it here too. Something i came up with in my daydreams a while back, and i finally got it finished. I looked around and havent seen anyone try this before, so i think it might be my unique idea here tis (disclaimer: the blaster sound was added post filming for effect, as my sound board is not functional yet)

i noticed this the other day while scanning through ANH, and a search yielded no results on this forum. though im sure it must have been talked about already. have many people noticed that the sandys have drop boxes in the new added scenes?

whether its realised or not, posts like that probably help alot more than just the OP. As a very green TD hopeful, I find posts about "how to be a TD/TK" invaluable. thank you sir.

so where did your helmet moulds come from again? Im guessing they must be 100% scratch built by you. especially with a bold statement like that no?

Im not sure if many of you have thought of this, but ive tried it and it works brilliantly. Have you ever thought about a set of computer speakers? usually pretty cheap, readily available......whats in there? a decently powerful amp, and probably a pair of nice 3w speakers the ones i tore apart ran on a 9.4v power pack, so a 9v battery does the trick no problem. picked up a $15 mp3 player yesterday, and im giddy as a schoolgirl at how this clip sounds. Hope you dont mind me using it, im not 501st yet, but my armor is dirty and im just waiting for my canvas belt also, was there any news on more/longer clips of this type? seriously im hooked, this stuff is pure unadulterated atmosphere in a bottle. i need MOAR!
