  1. See that worries me personally... The rebels weren't teenagers, they were adults... Even if they say "well they were padawans so teenager" then that doesn't really work as a) they were in the temple and got killed or with their masters and got killed... To me it sounds like Disney are pushing something on the SW universe that doesn't really work... I never liked the books focusing on the kids and the later ones with the Solo and Skywalker kids, other than Ben they were adults (20's say) and Ben was with them... I dunno... I have a bad feeling about this...
  2. Wow... Great job...! You must be very proud... Congrats on getting them so musicaly talented...
  3. Whats that Biker Scout doing with a TK bucket on...?
  4. Contacted RT and he is sending me a new pair... Great customer service from the guy...
  5. There's quality and there's quantity and you have both... Kudos sir...!
  6. Brad, yeh that's exactly it... I have tried again so hopefully I'll here something from him... Thanks everyone...
  7. Okay, seemed like my questions were answered... I already knew I needed bumps but now sounds like i need to go to Rob direct as ears don't swap... Thanks...
  8. I looked on the RT web site and it looks like the latest ones are bumpy... I tried to email but no answer that's why I posted here to see if there were any options
  9. CRL states that the ears should have 4 bumps (for the ranking) but mine do not so I assume that they are made with the bumps... However I think you are right regarding caps not fitting hence me asking
  10. Quick question - On my RT Mod, for some reason, I have smooth ear caps, no bumps... So has anyone checked to see if any ear cap can go on others as I am looking to replace them? Are they pretty much unique? Is it best to get a new set from RT? Thanks
  11. You have antenna on your iPhone..????? Cool t-shirt...
  12. Hey Admins, look over there, a bantha... 5
  13. Great pic guys...!!!! I laughed hard when I saw it on FB....
  14. Thanks all... Didn't want to cause fuss... Just wanted to bring some attention to it in case their is a future problem... I will say this, the standards have definitely been raised in general regardless of the CRL as people are probably looking to SWAT as well... Great job to everyone...
  15. I think my point is is that any candidate can come to request deployment fully compliant with the CRL yet still be requested to make changes that are not listed in the CRL... A few I the last ones have had comments on the crotch snaps, specifically noted and requested to be seen, and one to do a mod on their armor for the rivet edge spacing to 10mm, neither of which are in the CRL... So, should the Deployment Officer requested to see it or even request the change? No, but he did and the candidates did the change (or had done so already)... You can't request unofficial changes, they need to be in the CRL or not asked for... I admire the effort to raise the bar but it needs to be done by the book and through the CRL as that is the requirements laid down by the detachment...
  16. I have a question that is best raised here... On a recent deployed approval, the comment was made... Crotch snaps... Per the CRL, they are only required on the SWAT only, and not on the regular delpoyed, correct? I know most will probably do them anyway but why is it in the list of requirements for deployed officers? So another question is how much of the SWAT Officer requirements are being pushed back onto the Deployed Officer (cough - rivet edge - cough)? Is this mission creep? Are we surreptitiously raising the Deployed Officer bar?
  17. Nice tutorials Mike... btw, did you close the thighs completely? Velcor? Hooks (like the calf's)?
  18. Wow - that's a lot of Jaffa cakes... Awesome...!!!
  19. All depends if Disney or Lucasfilm wants another company to do the distribution of the films... These film companies release their films through many other companies so it is still possible for them to relese through Fox... I hope so... I also found this interesting little snippet (from Wikipedia so you can take it with a pinch of salt)... 20th Century Fox, the distributors of the first six Star Wars films, still retain the distribution rights to the original two Star Wars trilogies, owning permanent distribution rights for the original film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, while holding the distribution to Episodes I-III, V and VI until May 2020.Paramount Pictures retains some distribution rights for the Indiana Jones films, and future films will only be produced if both Paramount and Disney agree on terms.
  20. 'Tis a milestone that many strive to get... Congrats...
  21. I actually have a Hello Kitty Sandtrooper sticker (bought on these boards IIRC) on the back of the wife's van...
