  1. I'm friends with Mark. I'll ask him if the boots are different. HH
  2. Your quote matches your profile image perfectly. . . . Please let me know when they are available! HH
  3. Will there be another run of these parts? HH
  4. I'm planning on going and hopefully I'll have my TD# by then. HH
  5. Yes, but LF is making you buy the "updated" versions again . . . George gives in and make another billion. HH
  6. 2 of each for me, pending the final price . . . HH
  7. Where exactly do the fins go? Does anyone have a photo? HH
  8. I would have to disagree, in this instance. For the price you pay for the Cushman, you could scratch-build two guns that blow it away in quality. I don't think it has anything to do with accuracy. In this case it's about the quality of the product. HH
  9. I also bought a Cushman, before I knew better. I was very, very dissapointed. It also shipped a month later than stated. In the end, I purchased an HF on eBay for about twice what I paid for the Cushman. Frankly, I don't think the Cushman is worth the money. HH
  10. I've got that sitting on my desk here at work. Every day I find myself looking at it and thinking, "I need to repaint that." Great job! Please let us know what you used. Did you strip it first? HH
  11. Just an FYI, but the Hyperdyne has the "talk to activate" feature also. HH
  12. I've got one - it's a nice unit. The "deluxe" version comes with a cool trigger that you can run down to one of your fingers. You press it to open and close the mic with a static burst. You can clear your throat, cough, or curse at some kid without broadcasting it . . . HH
  13. I bought it from a second party. I assumed it was a sci-fire gun. Yes, the bipod is unattached and was cast seperately.
  14. I just aquired a hf MG34. Does anyone know how to attach the bipod? HH
  15. Hmmm . . . that could be true, but without comparing what I have with a TE suit, I have no idea. Does anyone out there have both? HH
  16. That's correct. Unfortunately, when people see the word "recast", they immediately think of something underhanded. I own an AP set, I don't think there is anything wrong with the shins or the bicep. I believe that AP made some corrections to the GF molds to fix those issues. HH
  17. AP is NOT cast from TE, and we should all be very careful about throwing the "recast" word around. I've watched too many threads on popular prop boards deteriorate into flame wars because of it. For the record, AP aquired the GF molds from GF himself. HH
  18. So, it states here: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/davin/replica_sand-storm.htm that Sandies lacked the ribbed shoulder straps that were on their shiny cousins. How many of you followed this? HH
  19. Oops! Forgot to mention that. Yes - it ships with the correct ab plate for a sandie. A very nice feature that I forgot to mention . . . HH
  20. Hi Ashaman, I'm in the middle of construction on an armor set from Authenticprops. This is my first set, so I can't sompare it to anything else. I'm not sure of it's origin, but it is supposed to originate from a screen used ANH suit. It certainly looks authentic. There is lot of work involved in assembling one of these kits. It comes untrimmed and there is a lot of trimming to do. Prepare for a lot of cutting, grinding and sanding. It ships with a very, very basic manual, velcro, mic tips and decals. Aside from the amount of work involved, my other complaints are with the lens material and the helmet opening trim. The lens material is worthless - plan on getting a welding visor and making your own or order a set from someone. The rubber "brow" trim is spot on, but the same material is provided for the opening of the helmet. Not only is it incorrect, it's almost impossible to apply correctly. (I ordered some trim from http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/ , do a search for SWR150) Good Luck! HH
