  1. I need a single point scope for this and come to think of it even though I have the Braks' scopes they are resin and won't hold up to trooping. It would be great to have some rubber scopes cast up from originals. I'm still kicking myself for not buying the Snooper Scope on the RPF a couple years ago. I wonder of Braks would have his cast in rubber.
  2. Mike, you were missed! It was cold and windy but I had my underarmor bottoms on under my Fett and with the multiple top layers I was toasty. All the troopers were freezing though. It was still a very fun troop.
  3. Thanks for the update Rolf! I'm going to start saving now
  4. You all look amazing and that looks like a fantastic troop. Great to see so many great looking helmets too.
  5. It took me a while to figure that one out and it's my Hyperfirm! Great scratch builds Paul.
  6. Congratulations Mike and thanks Seth. The team sounds bril.
  7. Great helmet Rocko, very inspiring! My TE2 needs some of that
  8. If you got that kit (AP) you'd be good to go for the AB plate, as is it's a Sandtrooper ab plate. Shoulder straps, I'm not sure what the latest thinking is but I use white elastic. It's hard to see evidence of any actual shoulder straps beyond the joining of the chest and back armor on the Sandtroopers. Generally it's considered to be just minus or before the ribbed straps. Welcome to the MEPD!
  9. I could be wrong but I believe the SE blasters were resin copies of a ROTJ blaster.
  10. Not a found object but you have to check out what Moncal has done: Mouse Droid
  11. Beautiful! Great job Ross and everybody involved, wish I could have been there too!
  12. Great to see this project back! Looks like a great MG-15, fantastic work, I hope to add one to my arsenal.
  13. Some Marmit pack shots here of either custom or concept. 2 different ones at least. Shouldn't this be in the other thread?
  14. Hard to see the greeblie that is on the side and top forward of the ribs on these but there's the wire loop that may be connected.
  15. I doubt it's anything new but I sent the pics to someone who knows a little about British Electronics. His response: It looks like a piece of electronics equipment. It has been sprayed grey which has camouflaged the typically varied component colors. You can see soldered joints on the tops of all the front cylinders as well as leads soldered to the plate behind and lots of components underneath. The low tin circles may contain valve bases and the tall tubes may contain coils. The top picture looks like a similar but different unit with cable at the front. They are probably out of some 2nd World War military equipment but I cannot recognize the function or nationality at all.
  16. I'd be happy to help you with that John when I get home. I used the same material as Mike. Black plastic corrugated pipe, cut down and held on with zip ties.
  17. I've got the barrel fins but I'm still looking for a disk and need to make the feeder box. I would buy a Sci-Fire kit Nathan and I know a couple other blokes in Virginia that would too.
  18. Looks really good RoCKo, I love a quality build thread!!
  19. Good to hear Doug, what a relief you got your blaster.
  20. That's a great picture and article! I would love to troop in Wales, it's my favorite country in the world. I'm quarter Welsh and I got married in Snowdonia, I spent my wedding night at the mountaineering hostel!
  21. Incredible! Brilliant Dad! I bet he's got a huge grin under that amazing helmet!
