  1. Nice - I can't wait for my son to be older and start asking for these goodies
  2. Wow - check out how slapped together that side gap strapping is!
  3. Wow - these are awesome! Great costume, excellent shots.
  4. I chose Daetrin from the main character of the book The Madness Season by C.S. Friedman. I think because I really related both to the story and the character like I've not related to another before/since. It's an awesome book, btw. I picked 8020 as my birthday and other related info was already taken. 8020 is the Pareto rule, so it had a geeky meaning as well as seeming to fit in with my philosophy at times.
  5. My apologies to Mike H., but I'm thinking it's time the pinball wizard crown is handed over
  6. Awesome! Can't wait to see what you do with it Noel
  7. These are great - thanks Rolf

    MEPD 2010

Actually it does matter and you cannot collapse the two groups. There are three levels of membership you need to maintain on this board: Members (not 501st) 501st Members : belong to 501st, but do not have a Legion approved TD Sandtroopers : belong to the 501st AND have a Legion approved TD The last group is the actual detachment members who are eligible to vote in detachment only matters and can see things like election discussions. This is how it works on CTN, BSN, FISD, etc. as well. You can rename the groups, but you need to keep the three separate. This is spelled out in the charter. can rename them as you like, but they are not the same and need to remain that way. Welcome to being a DL Noel And why yes, I did set up the board and this is why it was done that way ;-)
  9. Understood. I bet if we break the cost down (excluding labor) you can easily do EIB under $1000
  10. Way to go guys! The Mexican Garrison has really taken off the past few years. It seems like just yesterday you guys were small.
  11. Actually that's a bit high and while certainly it can cost that much it need not to. Prices are falling all the time, and I bet you can go EIB for $1000, even less if you do most of the work yourself. A sandtrooper is more just because there are more parts to be had, the backpack & BFG being the two largest purchases.

I love, love, love it! Great job Noel
  13. The one on mine is 3/4" across - is that what everyone else is using?
  14. This look right? Points to this : http://www.ronshomeandhardware.com/Product...&Click=7805
  15. In the special edition perhaps. I just watched ANH the other night. I think they were all from off-planet actually, combing different parts of the area. It was a pretty sizable force if they are that spread out. MEPD is a cool play on just one part of what troopers were doing in the movie and while fun to be honest I don't think there was a local Imperial presence. Else you'd not have had as much open crime activity, and also the fact that in the movie the premise is that Tatooine is very very far removed from the center of the Empire.
  16. Can you get more of these Rolf, or share where you got them from? I ask in that I'd like to get a bunch of them and just put it as a sales sticky for people, as this will come up again and again in the future.
  17. Congrats Noel on becoming the new DL for MEPD. It was a close race and hard fought, but in the end you prevailed. Thanks to Mike for all he's done in 2009, and best wishes to Noel for an excellent 2010. Learning Invision (the forum software) may seem tough, but you're a smart cookie and I'm sure will get the hang of it soon enough (heck, look at me ;-) ).

    Nice Joey! Saludos
  19. Yeah. Is there guidance on which disks to get? This question came up on FISD and I'm thinking it would be easiest if you're doing 1 to do 10 at the same time and then just offer them up as needed.
  20. It's not a good idea to list prices in the public area of the forum. You can either ask in the 501st only area, or else shoot him an email.
  21. No worries bro - we've all been there.
  22. Anyone have a good source for either? At least the discs? I'm surprised no one has done a run already.
  23. Now to hook up your TV to your computer...
