  1. Expensive yes but since the known spare parts sellers were recently contacted by literally dozens of Star Wars enthusiasts about thesesiphons they definatly know about our desire. That's free enterprise economy, mates!
  2. Thanks for the heads up, John, but i think i'll stick with my real UP90 Shires siphon... I was able to find one some time ago in a UK shop after s long journey of endless email inquiries. Unfortunately not the one with these small fins at the tube end but otherwise accurate. But since i'm convinced that not all siphons were the same... i'm fine with mine! Ahhhhmmm, i might overthink this, i really like these little, tiny, small fins a lot....
  3. LOL, that's exactly what i was thinking before my first build and it still is.... i still have two more armors in storage, waiting to be build though...
  4. Works perfectly, thanks a bunch, mate! That helps a lot replicating the best possible replica! More...more...more....!
  5. Nice mate! Don't stop trying... untill we are satisfied with accuracy! Depending on which reference the frame on some packs definatly looks differently shaped from image to image. I'll have to look into this once again... Btw. If you have one spare red kidney strap, i'm interested! Let me know! I'm still looking for one!
  6. IMHO both are off! Both are inaccurate compared to the available reference or screencaps. Still i bought both Brexton boxes because right now they are at least the closest match so far...
  7. That is soooooo unfair! I spent month, even years looking... Nahhhh, i'm just a little bit envious! Anyway i can not begrudge you for your find... Congratulations Franck!
  8. Oh man, i'm still not using facebook... please post pictures here too!
  9. No problem, i consider the MEPD and the RPF as my home, so i'll be here!
  10. Nice start and herzlich Willkommen hier! If you need anything to complete your build, let me know... wir können auch deutsch schreiben! When you start building your backpack, contact me, i have some extras left over, that might safe some shipping costs...
  11. Let the SWAT experts chime in to be sure but measurements are good and the box has all the specs needed as far as i can see... since you will mount it upside downfaced the undersite is important to see. I'm still not sold on the Brexton box... it's close enough but definatly not THE screenused box IMHO! But since the original box has not been found it should be good... if i'd go for the move along pack it would be my substitute also, at least for now!
  12. Haha, welcome bro! Always on the hunt...
  13. That would be great, thanks in advance... i hope shipping to Germany will not be the dealkiller though... I'd be still interested, better than building a replica... depending o shipping costs... Where do you come from? Let it be Europe...
  14. Of course, no problem... i hope Franck will sell me his spare strap...
  15. Yeah, i think i own the very first radio he sold in kit form. I have since finished my build but was holding pack for his decals. Haven't heared if this run takes place after he posted his interest thread... i'm still very interested foremost in the dial and SONIX decal!
  16. Nice, keep it coming.... Btw.: I recognized you have three red backpack straps on your frame... since two are screenaccurate, would you consider selling the spare one to me? Unfortunately my frame came with the wrong colored straps. Let me know...
  17. Yep, i can only echo that! Best radio around, he also offers pre-build radios which look amazing. But since you get a RS Sandtrooper/backpack you might ask them for one of his radios as an upgrade. RS does the european market for the Wwodman radios as far as i know....so that shouldn't be a problem!
  18. Yeah, i had the same problems while posting, looks like a problem since the last forum update! AND... Your blaster looks great, love the added details! Some fine day i will do a repaint of my rubber MG-15 from the Sci-Fire run back then... I was always to worried about using wrong colors or techniques for a rubber piece!
  19. Double post again... i feel a great disturbance in the force!
  20. Dude, i really love your attitude! Btw. if you come across some correct vintage parts let me know first... Seriously, you're right, i'm on the same way... been hunting for years now and actually found some things i was after and i surely wont quit searching! I also have these on my list but like you i haven't pulled the trigger yet since the provided pictures aren't really conclusive. Maybe a UK based member could arrange a group buy....
  21. Niiiice! I really like your attention for small details... keep it coming!
  22. Since the prop department obviously did produce their own interpretation of the screenused hip/shoulder MP40 pouches this might also been a custom made pouch... i guess we will never know untill there will be more detailed images available!
  23. I own one of Woodys radios too, unfortunatly i got it before he came up with these decals... really dig them! I really hope he will make them available soon to do some upgrade...
