Look forward to seeing that. IF you don't mind me asking, where did you get it from? I would love to get one really nice MP40 pouch.

Thanks for sharing Rolf.

Another impressive helmet. I would love to know your technique for painting those tube stripes and what colour you used. Seems to be spot on.

The new look is great, but I do miss the auto log in.

Thanks for the heads up on this one. -
Well you know it makes sense all that polishing drives you mad, just let it go with the dirt.

Looks great. What is the material you are using? -
I think some more subtle sand dust tones in there to break it up a bit.

I've seen guys wearing these but I think you will have to dye them all black

I got the CA boots, Mark Cheng first version boots from year 2000 and Jodhpur boots. The boots in the pictures, is the Mark Cheng from 2000. They are the best replicas i have seen vs. the screen used Jodhpur boots. Mark Cheng have made a new version, he sells on ebay. But they are really badly made, and the seller is not Mark Cheng. Just a faker as far as i know. Mark Cheng say so in RPF. Cheers Here is a pictures of my boots 1. The Caboots. 2. The Mark Cheng (first run around year 2000). 3. The Jodhpur boots. Now that's a great comparison. Good to see the difference. Thanks for that. Interesting how the armour changes colour inside.

Yes I like that ideaI like the riveting of the popper section. I suppose now that you have this one you won't need your SB pauldron which is not a problem as I'll PM my address - it will go to a good home

I don't know what is happening with UK sellers at the moment Stormtrooper_shop has gone AWOL as well. Luckily I managed to get my pauldron from him. You might be interested in this. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?s ... g+pauldron I've got to post some images from the weathering and filling of the orange.

Thanks Rolf. I 'm keeping an eye on your TE2 build. It will be interesting to see what paint you end up with. -

No Sig. Here's how it started out like. The most disappointing thing was the ears. I'm looking forward to getting something like TM, TE, TE2, AP or any other of those great lids. -

Know what you mean about the more. I might add to it. I quite like the David Felth look. I think I will wait for my Fullers Earth. -

Thanks for all your kind words. I'm looking forward to getting on with the armour but have to wait a few more weeks yet, but when I do I'll stick it on the forum. So much to do! I quite fancy a pack off SB or at least some parts to get going. SO if you're out there Seth It's going to be hard to get my armour looking as good as everyone that I have seen so far, but I am up for the challenge. -

Got it! I had the wrong URL. Thanks Dutchy. Yes I am itching for that armour. The helmet definitely a recast the detail in the ear area is almost gone. Still you live and learn. -

Nope that's not it. How do you get images from photobucket into the thread? I'll stick the URL here for the time being http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm203/n...nt=DSC_0123.jpg -
I thought I would post a few pics of my helmet I have just sprayed and weathered. Being new to this whole stormtrooper making thing, I bought a helmet off Fleabay. Although asymmetric it was a obvious recast ( maybe TE ) and the detail was a bit lacking to say the least with thin patches at the back. Rubbish helmet = a good excuse to experiment and have some fun and gain some experience. Thanks to all the great advice and ideas from MEPD and FISD I was able to have some idea about what to do. Sooo I reassembled spray painted with Hammerite enamel ( UK stuff ), hand painted the decals with Humbrol. Sadley to say I am not ready to do the tube stripes just yet. I replaced the lenses and tarted up the Hovi's. The weathering was done using oil paint ( burnt umber and Paynes grey ) talc ( couldn't wait for my Fuller's Earth ) and fixative. I am looking forward to getting the real deal soon ( armour on order ). Enjoy the pics. Any thoughts it would be good to get some feedback. Weathering of pauldron's next... I just hope these pictures show up. http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm203/nice-biscuit/?action=view¤t=DSC_0123.jpg http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm203/nice-biscuit/?action=view¤t=DSC_0016.jpg http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm203/nice-biscuit/?action=view¤t=DSC_0015.jpg http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm203/nice-biscuit/?action=view¤t=DSC_0007.jpg http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm203/nice-biscuit/?action=view¤t=DSC_0008.jpg
