  1. thanx guys ! i just love doing this stuff ! ....just recieved a " very poorly" Doopeys E-11 in need of repair and weathering today ,the owner is a friend of mine ...i will deal with that with the same care as i do for all the others i have been privelidged to work on previously ,and it will be up and running, shooting Jawas with its owner again very soon
  2. awesome stuff! congrats guys and well deserved !
  3. ATA is a good option for the price range you have in mind fergus
  4. this is an ongoing thing for me Rick ! ive converted a few TK's to go TD in my time bro ( and most have ended up hanging out with the sandies at events, and ended up converting themselves ! ),i am always on "RECRUITMENT DRIVE" mission to attract new troopers to the MEPD guys !
  5. just checked in my shed and i have the doopeys mag and mag housing, the hengstler , and front and rear parts of the stock assembly for the hasbro e-11 bud ..... but i'd reccomend you get the proper e-11 kit personally
  6. go with the doopeys e-11 kit rather than convert the hasbro dude !.... the e-11 kit complete is about £40.00 (GBP) + shipping i converted a hasbro e-11 to a sniper rifle for my biker scout a little while back and may still have a couple of the doopeys hasbro conversion kit bits left over from that ...i'll have a look .... do you live in the u.k Andrew ?
  7. lol....... no razor blades left for the jedi master to have a shave (again) then ! ...... what a convenience eh ? ..... lol
  8. youll clear no problem bud ! its WAY ,WAY BETTER than ,and also exceeds the requirement for basic 501st standard ,so i cant see any problems here at all with clearance
  9. yeah,it could very well be that it was replicated in a lighter material bro ! ,but, i'd imagine that these rubber angle grinder sanding pad bases would have been quite cheap back then ,and accessable in most tool shops back then too ,if the props department had the budget to buy a load of radios for the packs back then,, i'd also imagine that all the other bits needed for the packs wouldnt have been a real problem (budget wise) either ......Ruggero, this is what really impresses me about you bro..... you have an EAGLE EYE for all the little details, and i salute you yet again for bringing this plauseable suggestion to us all !
  10. shame i couldnt be with you all on this one !...maybe next year guys ...have a great time everyone
