  1. Yes. You never know indeed. Hehehe. Saludos.
  2. Thx bro. I have already read a few Facebook post describing hthe choas it is to get one at hasbros booth. So... Don't worry much. I guess I can always try to get it later on. Thx bro. Saludos.
  3. Hey bros, Wanted to ask this and maybe get lucky... Is anyone attending San Diego comic con this weekend, AND is willing to get me the epVII stormtrooper hasbro 6" exclusive figure and shop it to Mexico City. I know it's a bit in a rush but I was not able to post here in a few weeks. If anyone can do it, I can send money right away via paypal so no harm is done to anyone's wallet. I know this is not going to be easy but better ask than repent afterwards. Thx a lot. Saludos.
  4. Yes boss. I have it as an I accepted friend request in Facebook. Do you plan on contacting him? His name is Bob ****** Saludos. Let me know if you need the whole name. I wrote it but edited cause I don't think it's cool to publish his info without his authorization.
  5. Yes! That is the guy, Bob! Someone, I think it might have been Art Andrews (might be mistaken), put on a reward of something like $1000 USD in many vintage radio collectors and other radio enthusiasts forums, and all he got was the name and a website entry about it. But he also got some weird reactions from some members on those forums. Questioning why would anyone want to pay good money for a piece of crap... You can google and find the forum posts easily if you want to read about it. It was maybe 5 or 7 years ago. If you search deep enough, you can actually find the post at some ebay-like site from canada, where Rocko got his radio. I found it just a few days after he won the bid. At least I asume it was him, case a week later the pictures of the radio appear here with Rocko's water mark over them. I cant go anywhere, literally, without searching for the radio. Everywhere I go I look for it: peoples houses, stores, markets, restaurants, expos, just literally everywhere, and anywhere... and of course, browsed thousands and thousands of entries on ebay, locally, USA, and worldwide. This has become an obsession for me. I have talked and commissioned a few antique deales and film art directors to search for it... but no luck so far. But someday we will find it! I will find it someday... I know.
  6. Rocko, who used to be a user and well known member here, found and bought one. Afaik. It was just as the sonix victory 75, actually it was identical, but it was North Star Brand. I found one guy who is a radio enthusiast, I saw a picture in his webpage of his home radio station and he had one on the back. I mailed him and contacted him on Facebook but he never replied. It does exist. It was a real radio. There is more than enough proof of that. But there is not one in sight. But we will find it. Rest assured. Saludos.
  7. I found this one in a flee market. Looks like a distant younger cousin. You can see many similar things on both of them... Saludos.
  8. AWESOME!!! Finally we get some real acting on the matter. Congrats Eric and all the people pushing the legion to get higher standards. Hope we can get the CRL updated too. Saludos
  9. GREAT! Welcome back Bluey. Saludos
  10. No worries Boss! We are still here. Saludos
  11. AWOSOME!! Congrats brother! Your hard work has payed off! Welcome to the ranks! Muchas felicidades y bienvenido! Saludos
  12. I know, just as you... That we will be searching the net for that exact real life pouch for the next weeks. starting... Now! Saluods.
  13. Yes, I was thinking something in that same line. Thought that they just bent it over, maybe after glueing it upside down, and then decided to anyway flip it again. So many questions... Saludos
  14. Does anyone know or have seen a shooting plan or shooting board with the "Script girl" notes for ANH? I have one for The Godfather... I am sure such document most exist. Thats what they have to use for every edition and reedition of the film... That would be awesome to find to put some sense on armor parts vs scene shooting oder. Saludos
  15. Man! I am almost sure that the part that is missing on the side of the tool box is a Cistern syphon... and the black stripe crossing across the white silhouette is the black electricians tape. Man, this is awesome! More discoveries from one picture that what has been done in a few months! I can sense the time to upgrade is coming. Saludos...
  16. Yes! I also noticed that it looks like there was some sort of part missing on the tool box on that same trooper's pack, cause you can see some grey color showing under the black. As if a part was added to it, then painted, then removed... Also, there is a weird triangular detail on the base of the sniper knee plate on that trooper. What do you think? Saludos.
  17. Interesting... I see a couple details I cannot identify and that I have not seen before. But yes, can we have a high resolution file... Saludos
  18. GREAT! This is going awesome. Can't wait to see it finished. Saludos
  19. Awesome! Way to go brothers. Saludos.
  20. Have fun Boss, and take a lot of pictures.... Saludos.
  21. Hey Dave! Good to see you back home. Welcome brother... Hope everything is fine with you and the family. Saludos
  22. Sounds good. Just one thing, you might want to copy a real trooper from the movie instead of the toy. Its better to try the real look than a repro. If you need any reference, let us know. Saludos...
  23. Original boots used on production were black chelsea boots off the shelf. Stuart brand English made. That's why we try to find this kinf of boots, and paint them white. To go accurate. But then, most troopers today get white boots custom made for stormtrooper armor. Check TKboots.com You can go both ways and both are acceptable as long as the boots are similar to the ones used on ANH. About weathering, there is not a No go rule for airbrushing, but I would not suggest it, unless you can achieve the organic, rushed, on screen look... I have seen a few airbrushed Sandies and even if they are approved, most of the times the look from a bit to a lot off. Saludos.
  24. Looking good. Are you planning on keep the layers going or is this enough for your look? Saludos.
