Hey there bro'.. Airbrushing can be used for the weathering but bear in mind that you definitely don't use enamel like paints. Personally I'm not a big fan of doing it with an airbrush, maybe because I don't have the skills <_< And using the woodland items is easy to do as well and you can take it off easily. But hey, it's all up to you..I always say that weathering is a personal thing. See you soon but 1st enjoy the vacation!!

Weathering will always be an issue, especially the why are they weathered part and the colours used. My guess it that it never was intended as camouflage of some sort, but really due to exposure to the harsh environment of Tattooine, hence that some troopers are more heavily weathered than others.

You're on the right track...but maybe use some more/ different colours for that extra edge. And TD-443 is right about the other small things regarding deployment.

Anyway, when you troop you can wear any pauldron of your liking, but you could bring it on as a topic when you are trooping with more than one person. Just troop the way you prefer it yourself.

If you're melon is too big there is also something called cosmetic surgery But seriously, I understand that it can be hard finding the right helmet when you have a "big" head, but when you want to be deployed the extra effort will pay off in the end.
