  2. Congrats bro! Being a Dad rocks!
  3. The td helmet next to the clone actually looks bad ***
  4. I hate when theres publicarguments on here. I get a lot of pride being an MEPD officer. I would like to think that of all the 501st forums, we have been the most drama free, considering our detachment size. But lately that doesnt seem so. I hope new upcoming TD's don't get the impression that this is how it always is, because it's not. Can we try to "Move along, move along"
  5. Welcome to the TD-.9 World Wide Adventure So, those clean guys have TK-.5 and those bikers have Dodger, TB-1.5. Well its time we send a real soldier out into the field. Troopers, I am proud the introduce you to TD-.9 Codename: Sandy. He will be the MEPD Detachment good will Ambassador to the world! So how does Sandy get to each new location? Well this is where MEPD troopers come in handy. Any MEPD trooper who wants to host Sandy first makes a request on this thread for a certain month. Once approved the it will be recorded down and that month will be reserved. The MEPD trooper will be responsible for TD-.9 while he is stationed in that Area. Due to other detachments loosing there Mascots, I plan on being a little selective on where Sandy goes. If you dont have very many post your probably going to get rejected. You can also follow Sandy's adventures at: www.sandythesandtrooper.blogspot.com The MEPD trooper will take Dodger to local landmarks and Conventions. They will also introduce him to the Star Wars Celebrities when the opportunity is given. All of this will be maliciously photographed and evidence will be posted here on this Thread. TD-.9 will be assigned to each area for 3 weeks. At that point, the MEPD trooper will assist Sandy to his next duty assignment. His duty station list will be posted here. So please pick a time frame to have TD-9 visit your area! Just post here and I will add you to the list! -2009- MAY: TD-443 JUNE: JULY: AUGUST: SEPTEMBER: NOVEMBER: DECEMBER:
  6. Congrats! Now start looking at that infant section on starwars.com lol!
  7. No, I got them from a google earth file I found. Linda gave me alot of good advice and clues though!
  8. Bro, Im down any Monday or Tuesday you want to go!
  9. TD-443 found the remains of both Jabba's Barge and the Sarlac Pit in Buttercup Valley! This adventure was not easy. I pushed my Banshee, riding ability and navagations skills pretty good. I seriously took a much harder way getting there but found a much easier way back. Do not attempt this trip without the following: 1. GPS with cordinates 2. Water 3. VERY GOOD 4x4 or ATV 4. Cell Phone 5. Someone to go with you I also brought a folding shovel and a camelbak which both came in handy. Here's my findings: Foam that made up the Sarlac Pit Piece of wood with silver paint on it. This would be the wood from the front of Jabba's Barge. May look like trash to some people. But today I found star wars buried treasure!
  10. Let me start looking at my schedule, maybe we can bang it out sooner then later . Whats better for everyone? Weekend or weekdays?
  11. that would pretty much be f-ing awesome! Im in!
  12. Hmmmmm do I hear interest in a future MEPD Buttercup Valley Trip? Take some pics in uniform and escavate the Jabba Barge Site... If we were to set something like this up, what kind of timeframe you guys thinking? Im thinking a year, so it gives people time to save for the trip down. What do you guys think?
  13. Happy Birthday TD-6160 also know as Jesus! Not 7lbs 3oz baby jesus.

  15. After seeing the pics from the last visit the socal garrison made to the Buttercup Valley Dunes (ROTJ) I instantly became obsessed with going there myself. It took me a little over 3 hours. I had gps cordinates for the Jabba Barge site but ran out of time due to being ordered to come into work. So im going back next Tuesday with the quads LOL! This place is great! I went on a Tuesday morning and there was hardly anyone there and the dunes were clean and most didnt have tracks on them. The Border patrol agents there are cool dudes too! Thank you to MaraJade (Linda) fo answering all my questions! She really knows Buttercup Valley! If anyone needs directions or GPS cordinates let me know. I'll have all the codinates posted when I visit the Barge site next week. Here are some of my favorite shots from this weeks trip:
