  1. Here is the big question... do I have to convert to Orange Pauldron Trooper? I just ordered the SB Super Pauldron... in WHITE! I guess I can paint my old white pauldron orange and weather the crap out of it. Paul, Mike, Seth... chime in. Also, do you see this gun fit for Deployable Status? Mine will have the strap. Let me know on the Pauldron color plus BFG! Thanks!
  2. Will you please mail me some of those? PM me for payment and price and shipping cost – you have my address! I need 4 since I am making a 4 gun DLT-19 rack at my office. Perfection! What a find. John
  3. Well, here is one as fully assembled, sans strap, and with temporary barrel rings (we are trying to track down some 3" corrugated pipe)... But it looks pretty cool. And very, very light.
  4. Guys ready to order Lewis Gun/T-21 machine gun, go here... http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/T21page.html Also, I have noted that guys are wanting DLT-19 rifles as well. Cushman is offering a DLT-19 barrel upgrade for his V1 gun for a great price. For $30 (plus shipping), owners of the Version One MG-34 can upgrade their barrel and get an accurate, non-functioning bipod, to improve the V1 owners current gun. For that, go here... http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/ReplicaMg34DLT.html John
  5. Thanks Seth! Mine will arrive today. I will post pics as I complete mine. I will add the drain pipe and the front sight and a cap on the stock for the oil can. Stay Tuned! John
  6. There are 7 kit pieces, not including the pipe or the drain pipe. They are trimmed, but kits would benefit from a good precision trimming before assembly. Assembly requires a blade, CA glue, accelerant, sanding sponge (or palm sander), Krylon Fusion spray paint, brown and black tubes of paint – Acrylic Paint – to woody-up the butt stock and side grips, gloss coat for the "wood" and perhaps a powder-based weathering kit (Soot, and 3 shades of rust). I will use a Silver Leaf pen and dry-brushing of silver to weather mine. Mike, can you confirm the amount of rings on the corrugated drain please? I believe it is 14, but the images shown so far are just the base gun. I am glad you guys are pleased. We worked ******* this one! BIG NEWS: Total Weight As Assembled – 2 pounds, 2 ounces. WOW! Bounces when dropped.
  7. It is so huge! It could swallow a dozen sand troopers! We were dead, it hit again, it killed everybody! They say there is no Devil Mike... but there is. I saw it! Nobody, boo hoo, can, boo hoo hooo, resist the... boooo hoooooo... low price!!! It is just too good! Nobody's PayPal, boo hooo, can resist its power!!! And, boo hoooooooo, they will have so much money, sniff sniff, left over, boo hooo hoooooo, they can buy a helmeeettttt upgraaaddee from TE2, booo hoo hoooooo! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa-haaaaaaaaaaa!!! I have been practicing my Commodore Decker all, day, long!!! <-- WC watched Doomsday Machine thrice! HAHAHA!
  8. Well, here is an assembled one. It needs a couple of added details, a strap and a touch of weathering. BUT, there it is. PM me for details. There will be no run. Made to order. I will confirm the price, but as I mentioned, it will be $100-ish. IT IS A KIT. A small amount of skill is required to super glue the connection of the overlapping seams, and a palm-sander will smooth the seams quite a bit. Then spray paint with Krylon Fusion satin black, dry brush with silver, weather as you like. The pic shows a PVC pipe. It is not included, but Cushman will offer it at price. The pipe is 3" irrigation pipe, not the thick-walled stuff you get in the short segments. Mine shall arrive tomorrow and I will probably add a couple of details to the barrel – front sight at the barrel tip connection point and some banding on the middle of the barrel and an oil can on the butt stock. So, there you go. Thoughts?
  9. Wow Daetrin! That compliment is like Borat offering his sister. "Eef you no a get sex, you should try my sister. She a 3rd best Prostitute in Khazakstan! Hows about, if you are wanting a Lewis Gun, but do not have $600 handy, or 25 hours to scratch build one, this is a great option. Well, wait for pics. As Boingo said... a pic is worth a thousand words. And Boing was a friend HAHAHA!!! Happy Weekend! Johnny
  10. The gun is assembled and is, in my opinion, nicely-made. It has been shipped to Cushman, and he has made a duplicate. That duplicate is en Route to me and should arrive Saturday. I will finish it up and take pics and post them up by Tuesday or Wednesday. I am quite pleased with the end result... it took a lot of work, and more than one person was involved. I want to thank Patrick, Charles (Woodchuck), Edward, and also the patience you guys are showing about this upcoming product. I wish I could have gotten it done sooner, but it should be in full production by next week based on orders. THIS IS A KIT. IT REQUIRES LIGHT SKILLS AND ABILITIES. If you put together a sand trooper suit, this kit should be a snap. I showed Paul, the XO of this forum, the picture of the kit parts. But, I do not want anyone to see it until I paint and weather one up. It is just a matter of days. Patience my friends... soon.
  11. Oh, I see, ever since you ordered three for your buds, and are now wanting the sweet new BFG, you throw the C-man under the bus... now, you pay $115!!!
  12. I am missing just a few pieces. Once I have them, I can complete. Pics of the laser cut acrylic... Rough positioning only. Should be nice, especially for $100-ish per kit. NOT INCLUDING PVC PIPE, GLUE, SPRAY PAINT... and skills. Later Brothers, John
  13. Thanks, now I am going over to that other forum and I am going to edit your posts! And fill them with sunshine! I love you Paul. Johnny
  14. I will try to make it clear: Yes, buy the kit. It is easy, really. I have assumed that most of his customers get the kit. When I speak of Cushman guns, I speak of the kits. AND, the kits contain less than 10 pieces. I will address the $15 shipping now (even if Cushman is 3 miles from you). The $15 is for both shipping AND handling. He has to take two USPS boxes, cut them up, then tape them together, and put the kits in, and close them up... and it takes a few minutes of time. The Version One is here... http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/replicamg34.html Kit: $50 Assembled and Painted: $125 Bipod (working* - less accurate, and non-working, more accurate): $10 The Version Two is here... http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/PeplicaMg34V2.html Kit: $85 Assembled and Painted: $165 Non-working Bipod: $10 My Favorite for TD troops (The Revised V1 with a DLT Barrel)... http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/ReplicaMg34DLT.html Kit: $60 Assembled and Painted: $135 Non-working Bipod: $10 This is my trooping gun. It is $85 ($60 + $10 + $15 for Shipping). An $85 DLT-19. Cushman Gallery: http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/showmoremg34rep.html Cushman is offering the $100 Lewis BFG next month, AND THAT PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE COST FOR SHIPPING, OR FOR GLUE, OR FOR SPRAY PAINT, OR FOR PVC PIPE... and it will require some skill to assemble.
  15. Well, that saved you over $425 over the Sci-Fire. You can buy an entire suit of FX, or most of an RT-Mod with the savings. How long did it take to assemble? I built this in under three hours... Sometimes it is not only about the money... but time you can spend doing other things.
  16. The one with "melon ball holes" for cooling barrel vents and no inner barrel.
  17. Ironic! I bought a MacBook last weekend. It is so I can start writing a book. "How to Design in Photoshop, and If You Don't Like the Way I Teach It – Suck It!" Still needs some finessing.
  18. True... My feeling are if someone has the skill to assemble a suit of armor, strap it, weather it, and wear it... they surely have the skill to put together a kit made up of 7 pieces. The Cushman and the Sci-Fire are different guns for different people. And, Sci-Fire guns are beautiful. They are $450. They are available sometimes (but not all the time). The communication is, ask most here, spotty at best. If you want a light, inexpensive, good-quality trooping gun... Then get a Cushman. You will have spared enough money in change to buy an assembled TE2 trooper helmet AND take your wife/girlfriend/lover/whatever to a nice dinner. By the way, a $100 Cushman Lewis Gun is coming... and many are very, very interested in it. Go tell that to JB.
  19. I have owned this gun. Me trooping with a Version 2... A side shot of the gun... Me with Anthony Forrest, the "Ultimate" TD Warrior! ... A DLT-19 version (upgrade for the Version One gun)... PM me if you need details. These can be gotten as kits and as finished weapons. John
  20. Avatar Man... you just got insulted! This is a Republic Commando... http://www.break.com/index/roid-republi ... -self.html Which was a spoof of this... http://www.break.com/index/roid-head-loves-himself.html HAHAHA! Paul, he will be just fine in TK armor!
  21. I have seen an actual Lewis in person AND I have seen a Sci-Fire in person (and they took some liberties, most likely to protect them from duplication). I am also doing to same. You know, a quarter of an inch here, and eighth of an inch there, a slightly raised (______) somewhere, as to alert us when we are being copied... It makes the gun 97% accurate, but 100% my interpretation... and still, easily recognized by pro-level TDs as a Lewis gun. As what you mentioned... It is both textural AND slightly elevated on that tip section. Due to the available knowledge, at the time I made the schematic, I had limited visual resources. But, that all said, It will be a good solution once copies are being made. The vac-forming process also loses a slight amount of detail (and depth), so this raised area on the cooling shroud tip is perhaps 1/16" an inch and should just give enough of an impression for it to not lool like a toilet pipe gun. Additionally, the acrylic prototype parts help me to gain back some of the softness... that the anti-Cushman people tend to focus on. Well, the gun should be at least as good (probably better) as this gun... Thanks for the pics... too bad I did not have them earlier. Guys will just have to settle on a gun like what I showed in the pics I posted January 22nd. Later Guys! John
