I had the same experiance with the Golden Gate Garrison, not the best of people when it comes to helping out and are not to welcoming of incomeing troopers. When I am doing I will be a part of the GGG for a little while untill I leave the craphole state of California for good in December.

We can't name armor sources on the boards, the best thing we can tell you is ebay and RESERCH, RESERCH, RESERCH. There are several different types of armor out there and it's up to you to go with what armor you like the best. Welcome! BTW I spent about a year checking out different armor before buying mine.

Your armor looks great! Mine is comming along but I stand at 6'3" and I am getting concerned about the gaps in the armor and to boot I have still need to cut about 20 pounds to make it look good and then it will look great except my shoulder are broad and will spread things out a little.

This has caugt mu attention several times, what is the correct way to wear the hand armor? Looking at it it should be easy to tell wich way, but several shots from the movies have troopers wearing the opposite way with the "thumb cover" facing out, what gives?

The TE suit and helmet are the best and most acurate armor out there. I am in the process of building my TE suit and it requires alot of work in triming and painting, but I am also being very anal about the details. Each of the different suits out there good it just becomes an issue of how much time, effort and skill level you are comfortable with. Good luck with wich ever armor you get!

Hey guys! I hope every one enjoed themselfs at CIII and the Episode III openings. I just returen from two months and sea in the South Pacific and missed all the fun, but I did get to see ROTS in Fiji and Sydney. Now that I am home finaly, I can start my armor. I started the triming phase and teh handplates and bucket are ready to go, next phase it to start mounting the helmet electronics (ROM/FX, Aeroator speakers, fans, padding/hard hat liner) and work on the forearms and lower legs. In about 2 weeks I hope to be ready to start the painting phase and when its all done and preaty to dirty it up a bit, then start on the backpack.

What does the RT armor look like? I have seen the bucket sbut did not know they did armor as well.

Join up on the discution board of his, he posts when he starts a new run. Over on the RPB he has said he will be doing another run shortly. The amp is just fantasmic, you will like it alot. It's not cheap but for this kind of quality the price cant be beat.

As I stated in the other forum, Swet website! Will help a ton when I put my TE suit together.

My bad TE. best part is I can't even start building it until july! I am graduationg from college in 3 1/2 weeks and will be setting sail on May 1 for the south pacific for two months. I will be able to Ep. III in Sydney Austrailia after the premier, I will be in the middle of the ocean on the 19th.

Finaly got my TE armor! Sweet! Construction is now set to begin the end of June or the start of July. It would be nice if I could make CIII but I graduate from College a few days later and then will be out to sea for the next two months and will catch Ep. III in Austraila a few days after it comes out!

Will it rub off on the armor?

Hello all! I have wanted to be Stormtrooper since being a kid and I th9ink I am in the right place! I will be going "dirty" as soon as I get my armor and have a chance to build it. I bought one TE's very last TD suits and assuming things are going will with his family I should have it in a few weeks. I have my undersuit (under armor coldgear), Boots from CAB, helmet fan and my jewel a ROM/FX 2.1 to go in the bucket! Only things I need help with is the pauldron and ammo pouch set up, I need to know where to get them and how to hook them up and where. I will try the back pack later and it is low on the list of things to do. Can anyone help? I am located in the Bay Area will will troop will the Golden Gate garrison.
