I know a few of you guys out there really want the “screen accurate” sling, I can’t help out. But for those that want something a little more field expedient, and looks nice here is my idea. Leather 72 inch strap, some leather string, a leather chunk 4 inch X 8 inch, and med brown leather dye. I’m right handed so the tie up on the stock faces towards me, either way it still gives it that well use and war torn look.

Ive seen one of RA binos up close, looked great but its got some weight to it.

Well I found this for the Hyperfim Lewis guys. Like me http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MGR044-46241-1150.html I think that leather on the stock comes with it, "I think". Either way if you can get something like that for the stock you can attach that to the stock nice and tight and add a sling onto that so you’re not messing up the rubber stock. It’s not movie perfect, but it would work. Dye the leather a dark color, weather it up a little. Could look cool, and still be use full. Think ill do that.

I know this is an really old thread. But did the D ring problem ever get fixed? Any pic of the leather slings? Can always try gunbroker.com for parts.

Well, there is no stupid questions just stupid people like me right now. So on that note where is the sniper knee supposed to sit on the leg? Should it over lap the thigh armor or sit really low? B/c my real knee keeps getting pinched in between the top part of the knee plate and the lower part of the thigh armor, and BOY DOSE IT HURT! O Dear God the pain! Help. Dose any one else have these problems?

Thanks for the complements guys The first color of dirt is done, im adding another color just to make it a little more realistic in my mind. Hope to have pics up by the end of the week. Just need to finish the pack and get a BFG. Would love to get my hands on a Hyperfirm (hint, poke, wink ) since I love my EE-3 Well time to start and get the dirt done.

OK, almost done! Have to get it dirty and make a few adjustments but over all I think its ok. You can tell that it’s a little big on me, but that’s b/c my friend wants to use it for Halloween and he’s a tad bigger then me. After he gets done with it im going to fit it for me; but other then that what do ya’ll think? My first time in this suit, soon to be TD-9065!

I got my Boba and TD boots from them..... Used my Boba for more then a year and has held up great.

If you add on the kidney pad you should not have a problem with that. Then again only time ive every used that stuff was when I was in the Corps on humps. Never use it in PCV armor.

Found this guy on E-bay, selling frames for CHEEP! They will work for our needs. Run a search for "ALICE Pack Frame FIELD PACK " they are $1.99 each Hes from Austin. Its just the frame nothing else, but like I said it will suit us since we are not ******* 60 Lbs up a hill.
