I love the idea. There is a thread I started on TDH call Karma (I think). It’s been running for a few years now. If someone checks it out they might get a few ideas for this.

Anyone know why I would have to switch to the mobile board whenever I want to send a PM? My computer maybe? Also whenever I try to post something or PM someone I get the font bar along with other stuff in the middle of the writing block.

I have what I think are real leather MP40 pouches and mine are silver on the back. But im no expert so there might be diffrent ones. And as I was looking at the shoulder pouch I found some kind of tool that was in the small pouch. It has been in there for years id say. It was all stuck to the leather.

Old school with mine with the exception of a Kevlar helmet donut pad that I pulled out of my old kevlar, Skullworx, and a USMC sticker on the inside. Id like one of them fancy padding’s like Sir Davis is showing in the one picture. But where would I put my USMC sticker?

I’m trying to make a custom pauldron, got just about all I need. But im having a heck of a time finding the right trim or “bias tape”. I bought the 50/50 blend cotton stuff but that’s just not the right look. I’m looking to the right trim; I guess it is a pleather or something like that? Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, the parts what the snaps go on, the two black parts that snap together to hold it on. I can’t find a good thick black vinyl for two parts. Any ideas? I was going to use leather but what kind of leather? Kind of at a loss right now, im so close with this project.

hairspray? I would think it would come off easy. But I can see where you would have to reapply it on often.

Do you guys use any thing to seal the dirt on your costume? I used that Woodland Scenic’s' Earth Colors, was thinking that I might want to seal it using some kind of clear coat. Hate for it to rub off or get rained on. Some of it has rubed off a little. Good idea or bad?
