Hey Rolf, Thanks for posting this comparison pic. Up until now I was wondering what is the difference between a LAWS Stunt Helmet and an AP Helmet. Now the difference is CRYSTAL clear. Good thing I went for the LAWS helmet as my "melon" will never be able to fit into an AP bucket!

Indeed I'll share the pics here (and at FISD forums too before weathering that is ). Looking forward to see how your untrimmed Helmets will look like and I hope that everything reaches you safely.

I'll certainly carry out those modifications that you've advised in your e-mail. I'm sure that once it is completed my Helmet as shown in those pics above is going to look similar to this other LAWS Stunt Helmet that you've shown in your previous thread : ..and of course a step by step photodocumentation will be included as well.

Chazz, am I correct that the darkest color is to accentuate the details and shape of our TD armor whilst the layers of lighter shades is to give it a random dirt built up look? Its similar to the approach used for weathering scale model armored vehicles, esp those US WWII Armor. and MissingPieces, thanks for sharing with us the progress of your weathering. I like the application dirt and grime on your Chest Armor. "Teddy Bear Tan" interesting color indeed!
