Plainsrunner
So... I know Original Stormtrooper has had mixed reviews on here, but has anyone considered their mannequin for display and storage of your armor? Mannequin Or do you have other alternatives, or do you just put yours in a bag or closet and don't display it? The attractive thing about the Original Stormtrooper option to me is the fact that it's in the standard trooper pose holding the blaster. LoveMonkey
I just keep mine in my bin locked up. I have little children, so if I leave mine out they'll play with it and it will get broken.

Airborne Trooper
That's one expensive mannequin. You can damn near buy another set of armor for that price. I believe there's other options out there that will work.
henselmonster
Holy cow thats a pricey mannequin! This is the one I have, its flexible and posable. Only downside is it isn't strong enough to hold a blaster, but looks great otherwise. http://store.voicebooster.com/male-mannequin-flexible-posable-full-size-in-black/

Can it wear the backpack too?
Airborne Trooper
Just put some extra weight on the base plate and I'm sure it'll hold fine.
Markus ' tiny ' Zeitvogel
I have build a Ducktapemanequin, a copy from my body. On the pictures the shoes are not build in. I have buy a cheap pair classic jodpur and drill a 45mm hole into it.

I would say try to counter the weight a bit, but I think a pack would hold fine on that mannequin
DarthStevius
Depending how often you plan to troop in your TD you may find the mannequin isn't really practical - having to pack it up and unpack it again to display could become quite a pain. I was fortunate enough to get a mannequin that was being thrown out at work - but I only use it for my Predator costume that only get's worn about twice a year! My TD stays in his box unless I'm trooping or repairing

I like it, but I had Boba on it and the jetpack was a bit heavy to balance it without assistance.
Plainsrunner
I wound up going with the suggested mannequin here in this thread. The results: Now I have to figure out how to handle all the other stuff that goes with the suit: Pardon the bare mattress. It's the guest room. lol
dawyer47
Here's mine. I got it from Amazon, about $150. Took some modifications to get the arms bent, but a little bit of cutting, fiberglass resin and 2 hinges, he turned out pretty good. Arms are adjustable so I can remove the armor. Also the pauldron is just being stored on my TK while I wait for new armor for my TD.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E5O67JA/ref=oh_aui_i_sh_in_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
MrFlavaFlave
I keep all of my armor in the HUSKY bin away from hands, dust, and other elements. Each piece of armor is wrapped up and protected.
