MAXXTRAX77
I have a diamond knee plate from I believe Trooper Bay. It’s basically a cup. How do I install it? Any close ups of what it’s suppose to look like when done? Thanks, complete noob.
henselmonster
I stacked a bunch of spare abs and glued them to the back of the plate so I could glue it onto my shin. I can show a picture later when I am home from work to show you what I mean.
Airborne Trooper
I did the same thing as John. Some people make an entire piece of ABS to close off the back but that was more work than necessary.

Guilty as charged. Big stack of ABS for strength, then a panel sealing off the hollow back of the diamond for looks.
MAXXTRAX77
How thick is the plate suppose to be?
henselmonster
I'd say about 1/2"-3/4"
