Thank you for your interest in joining the Elite and submitting your request for SWAT OFFICER Activation.

As I told a SWAT applicant (Felix / TK-20047) last year, it really is nice to see different TD versions other than the ever popular MOVE ALONG Trooper from time to time.

During this process, there may be some mods that will need to be taken care of. Details that need to be even more fine tuned in comparison to past SWAT members. The bar is always being set higher.


As stated before, we always stress PATIENCE during this process as we pay more and more attention to fine tuning with each new SWAT applicant. The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armor / gear a full inspection and review. Some details may definitely be missed and re-checked, but we will try to catch them on every pass given until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team, Brother!

First off, this is a an excellent helmet build. Good job!

You are very close to getting cleared with this bucket, but there are a few mods to take care of.
If you want to get this section as screen accurate as possible (which is what SWAT is all about), please see below:

1.) Lenses - Although this detail was probably taken care of in your standard deployment pics, we still need to see the green lenses in the SWAT review.
2.) Paint Drip Details - Not sure if you did this, but post close up pics of the face. Would like to see this simple mod if it hasn't been done. It will really make the difference, Brother!
3.) Brow - Try to re-adjust the brow to match the ref pics. It appears to be sitting a little lower than canon. A quick mod for sure.

Your weathering details are awesome, James! Nice work! Now we can focus our attention on the following...

1.) The chest pattern needs to be tweaked just a tad. It could be the lighting again, but It looks a bit too dark. As you already know (and it does look like you've done your homework) the chest pattern matches that of the 'STOP THAT SHIP" Trooper. Try to lighten up the detail and match the pics of the references below...

2.) I need to see a close up of your shoulder straps. *NOTE: Canvas is acceptable (for now), but white (weathered) elastic is definitely preferred for accuracy.

Also, I have actually already done the paint drips as shown in the photos, they obviously just weren't too clear in the pics...

Shoulder straps were elastic, but I swapped them for off white canvas as the elastic sagged quite a bit with the shoulder bells attached. I can swap back though

...yep looks a bit too long there. I'm off work for a few days after tomorrow. Will trim it down & lighten the weathering a bit
