  5. https://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=39857&costumeID=2 I looked for the link to see if your TD had already been accepted. You should have added that at the top. Everything is clear now.
  6. Great, as far as I'm concerned there's nothing standing in the way of Level 2. I have to ask again - you don't have basic approval for the Trooper yet? If not, do it quickly and as soon as the TD Basic is approved, I will switch you to level 2. I have to stick to this order. Regards Thomas
  7. I just saw that you don't have a "Basic" approval yet? However, this has to be done first, I overlooked that. Despite everything, you won't have any problems with submitting the TD for a Basic. If you add the screws (M3 countersunk head) - like in the picture - then you will also get approval from me for Level 2 - the Police Officer.
  8. The screws are just dummy. The effort is not great. 30 minutes, no more. Then nothing stands in the way of Level 2.

  11. @Sphinx Hello, please put a link to the 501st page with your profile
  12. Welcome in the MEPD!
  13. Greetings to you, yes, a bit strong at points. What colors do you use? I recommend Vallejo Leather, Tierra earth, chocolate & Black. Dilute the colors well with water, apply and dab again with a crumpled Zewa. Repeat until the result is as desired. Finally a wash with earth and black. Regards from Germany, Thomas
  14. Hello Bruno, Thank you for your interest in achieving PO status. In order to process your application, I ask you to read this thread. This thread contains the requirements for PO, as well as the list of required images. Please also post the pictures here directly in the forum and not via a link. Thanks for your understanding, bigwam
  15. Hello Heather, About the photos, they are great. Regarding SWAT approval: That wouldn't be enough. If you want to achieve SWAT status, then you want to recreate or emulate a trooper 1:1. In your case the “Move along Trooper”. 1:1 means: the armor should be built based on the film model. Here we go into more detail: how far the cover stripes protrude, how big are the return edges, how far the chest overlaps the abdomen, etc. ... The helmet goes further: the eye cutout must be identical, the position of the brow and ears (and also the screws), painting, chips, and weathering must be identical. The pauldron should be identical to the trooper's seat. The weapon in the film would be a Bapty-E11. A completely different model than the normal E11. The backpack would also have to be completely redesigned in order to recreate the exact fit of the components. It's a lot of work that you should keep in mind before building any armor. Here's Hausi's SWAT application, so you can compare how complex it is and what requirements have to be met. The original trooper - here also the move along - is always compared with pictures. Best Regards, bigwam
