  1. It looks like you have a lot of extra room in your shins and can trim them down for a better fit.
  2. Are you planning on leaving them TK E-11 blasters or will you convert them to Bapty version E-11? Great work none the less!
  3. Looking good dude! Time to get a pack!
  4. AMAZING! I have the exact frame. Can you tell me the measurement of the frame above the top bar. The part where you have the caps on. Also what measurement you bent the frame and what degree you bent it to. Looking forward to seeing you do that radio run.
  5. You need to post HERE and request 501st/sandtrooper access to the forums. For your pictures, you want to link them directly in your post. Most people use photobucket.com to host their pictures. You will want to extend your shoulder elastic that connects the chest and back so you can close off the gap between the back and kidney. Make sure you check with the CRL and the THIS POST detailing what pictures you need for Police Officer submission.
  6. I've seen some guys double up the center ACH pad. I use a construction hat liner. All my electronics kind of require it plus I find it much cooler as air circulates a bit easier. If I'm not mistaken, when you separate these pieces there should be a bit of material built in for the return. I don't have WTF but I cut a lot of the material off as I never intended to put in the original strapping method screws. I am going to attempt to use appoxie sculpt to recreate those returns. If I can't I'll be hitting up a vendor for new parts.
  7. This is pretty cool considering the majority is all hand made.
  8. I have my MP40 pouch attached to my pack strap. One suggestion is to break up those weathering sections. They just look like a random shape of solid color which would not happen naturally. You need to break it up to give it a natural look and texture.
  9. Separate! Unless you're doing a SE sandtrooper that's based on ROTJ armor. ANH TK/TDs have them separated.
  10. You will need to make a shim or order an ab and kidney from AP as his are much longer. If you make a shim, you'll need to fill any seems so it looks like the armor came that way. You need an account at Whitearmor.net to see it: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38294-ap-new-larger-ab-kidney-plates-fits-up-40-waist/
  11. Looks fantastic! Once Felix returns from vacation, it should be an easy approval! Good job!
  12. Was receiving some database errors earlier but as seems well now. I guess just needed to let the DNS refresh.
  13. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35994-fs-ukswraths-cooling-fan-kits/page-9#entry515398 I just posted my bracket I got from him a few days ago.
  14. I really like the detailed weathering around the rivets and even the hovi tips. Need to hit up my hovi tips now lol.
  15. Trim as necessary for a flush fit. People like myself with rather large beer guts have to make shims unfortunately. On the 3 rivets, I would recommend using nylon webbing so that material stays put. It'll act as a hinge and you enter the armor from the opposite side. Ukswrath, a SWAT member here, sells a fans, brackets, and any electronic you can think of. He's got quite a bit of my paychecks in the past year lol.
  16. Any update on fixing the broken image links displaying staff, Police Officer, and SWAT identifiers?
  17. Looking great! Love the weathering and all around greatly put together. The one thing I notice right off the bat is with the 2015 CRL updates, you have to emulate the original strapping method on the ab and chest plate for PO. It doesn't have to be functional but you have to have the screws there. Add those screws and I see no reason why you won't easily make Police Officer status once Felix returns from vacation in another week and a half.
  18. I love Walt's kit. Wish I would have known and gotten his. You're off to a good start and glad to see you have chosen to go sandy! Plenty of source material for your trooper here. If you ever need help, just ask!
  19. Not sure if anyone has had a chance to check out the top winners but there are a few that stick out. TK-436 was the overall winner and a great story: http://www.starwars.com/video/fan-film-awards-2016-tk-436-a-stormtrooper-story My personal favorite is Star Wars: Generations: http://www.starwars.com/video/fan-film-awards-2016-star-wars-generations All the videos can be found here: http://www.starwars.com/star-wars-fan-film-awards
  20. I don't think it's that simple with a real Karrimore frame though.
  21. Most likely wouldn't fly for basic 501st approval but definitely required for SWAT if the character you're emulating has it.
