here is the Si-Man beside my weathered AP and the recast winner I got off Ebay a long time ago. They all have a different back/dome. The Si-Man does have "somewhat" of a bumpy dome in the front but lacks the Gino bumps in back.
Please understand I am not as well versed as most of you guys so I am just telling you what I see. The recast lid has all the same bumps and warts as the one Gino helmet though they are of course super soft looking. I cicled them one time until I got bored doing it so they all matched up. The bondo you see is where the helmet was poorly trimmed when I got it and had to add some plastic. Enought jabbering from me there are some size differences for sure.
Dont own a TE2 but I have a lid I got on ebay that said it was a TE but is an obvious recast and I have an AP. I will take some pics of them together later.
I got my Si-Man helmet today. I love it. My camera skill is poor to say the least i wish I could take better pics for everyone. I did take a side bt side with my Grant McHune Fett lid since they are both screen connected. I opted for the HIPS since I am going to paint it anyway. It is a very good thickness too. I didnt do the assembly so if it is wrong the original holes were wrong cause it's put together in them. I am nervous about trimming the ears but I am a big boy I think I'll be alright, lol. The kit came with everything also right down to the foam having the star shape drawn on it in marker.
The flaps(2 of them) are not big enough to pass the belt through unless you alter them anyway so use should just make a single loop big enough to fit your belt through
NO WAY! There is no way I am letting you on this board too Alex...Welcome aboard brother. i told you to buy my snowy months ago see how quick that was.

Here's a very clear pic showing the small pouch and showing that it is clearly covering the belt corner in question.
This pic is from Art Andrews, he posted it wheen I bought the pouch from him, nice soft pouch in beautiful condition!
