  1. Thanks everyone Im glad you like it! Ya I think I'll move forward with the project and go E11 :)Rolf I did 95% of the project with my dremmel with some metal cutting wheels and some griding stones and then used a drill press for the outer barrel holes. It was actually an easier project than I thought it would be. Once again thanks to jesse for the AWESOME tutorial to follow
  2. Another deactivated sterling project, there are many like it but this one is mine lol. So I was able to cut out and re-use all the good original parts from the kit. I pretty much followed Jesse's tutorial to the "T" (http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=8455) and did everything he did the same way. Everything works on this blaster. The back end cap comes off so the spring and bolt can slide out, the spring and bolt ****/move. The trigger works in full auto, semi auto and safety modes. Mag clip clips in and releases, folding stock moves and locks in place both in the front and in the rear. I still have some touch up cleaning to do on it but I'm happy with how its turning out. Im thinking of keeping it two toned so everyone can see whats original and whats new. But do I keep it looking like just a sterling or do I move ahead and moddify if it to look like an E11? http://s1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd384/tk236/ Mike (hk-236)
  3. I just saw a toy commerical for a new Hot Wheels video car play set thing. They came out with a hot wheels car with a built in camera that you can download your videos on your computer etc. Im not sure how tuff it would be to disasemble the car to get the camera out but it looks small enough to hide/install in maybe the airorators. Its just a thought. http://shop.mattel.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11743035&gclid=CIOsgPjbuKsCFYYZQgodVxTmcA&utm_medium=CPC&utm_source=Google&utm_campaign=Hot+Wheels+-+Video+Racer_G&utm_adgroup=Shop+-+Branded+-+Video&utm_keyword=hot+wheels+video+racer Mike-236
  4. I always thought "TK" stood for "Trekki Killer" lol
  5. Not a bad find but even if those propane tanks are empty there still kinda heavy so I guess it depends on how much you want your pack to weigh. Another route if you dont like the bottle wipes is to mount a car oil filter.
  6. those pauldrons are good for anyone on a budget. There not perfect but there good enough for the general public/joe shmow events. There actually made by the same guy who makes the "movie fx" trooper armor. Hope this info helps anyone out there. Mike
  7. Hey Gang, I'm looking for a nice detailed radio dial faceplate. I found the PDF pic in this thread however mine printed out alittle dull looking. Did anyone ever make this into a high detailed sticker/decal? If so I'd love to get one. Any help would be great. Mike
  8. Email sent for 1 faucet cover and radio Mike
  9. Hey gang, I'm in search for a faucet cover for my pack however I'm having no luck finding one. I've tried Home depot, Lowes, Target, Wallmart and Ebay. Can some one point me in the right direction or does anyone have an extra there willing to get rid of? Mike
  10. Loving the work! please post more pics if you can.
  11. Well I replaced the lens on my snowtrooper bucket with mesh for the Rose Parade gig and they worked great! They hide your eyes from a distance of 6ft or more, any closer you can tell there mesh and see right in. Mike
  12. Hey guys, ya the pics that were posted from city walk are of the guys that call themselves the "black sheep". There the guys that made the origanal fan film "troops" and now the fan film series "IMPS". There actually not apart of the 501st but I love how they think outside of the box when it comes to there home made armor and accessories! Mike
  13. Hey gang, I just picked up a secound set of armor recently and I'm in need of some cheap/used boots size 12. They dont have to be in the best of shape since there going to be dirtied up for a sandy. So if your looking to up-grade or been thinking of getting a newer pair, I'll take the old ones off your hands TK236 Mike
